Norway is really the best land. I am from germany but i learn norwegian and i made a powerpoint for 2 roadtrips in norway and the next year and the following year drive I and my familie with a car in Norway.

I'd say if you need a car depends on what you want to do... for living in a city there is pretty good public transport (atleast in the bigger ones like Trondheim, Bergen and Oslo) and between citys there are good train/airplane connections ... but if you wanna do anything in the country side, especially up north you are out of luck if you don't have a car I'd say... for example in Lofoten, which is quite touristy but sparsely populated (so normal-ish for norwegian standards?) there are like 5 busses along the main "highway" per day and thats it

We have well built public transport systems (trains, trams, busses and subway) especially in the cities, but outside of the cities there will also be busses or trains. If you live very remote there will be fewer, but if you live like an hour outside one of the cities there will be one every 20-30 minutes I'd say. The government of Norway will be very pleased with you if you plan on not having a car as they're encouraging people to use more public transport or electric vehicles. Better for the planet :)
You could probably stand a week, maximum. You won't be able to stay during the winter (dark and cold). The best places to be are those that are bustling with people, streets, cafes, etc. Norway is not one of them.
@@kavorka8855 If you want to visit a mall, then yes Norway is not for you. If you like forested and mountainous nature, friendly people and near-ancient tradition that is still being maintained then Norway would be the perfect place to visit.

Norway is pretty unique for the “midnight sun” it can only appear in summer and if Norway reaches winter it will be full of darkness the midnight sun will shine at night and if at winter it will be full of darkness.
I think you misunderstood a little bit :) The midnight sun is just the sun, but in summer it doesn't set. In winter when it's dark you won't see the sun, but you will sometimes see the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights :)
