Broadway.com asked two of the show's charming supporting players, Ben Fankhauser (Davey) and Tommy Bracco (Spot Conlon), to give us a behind-the-scenes tour of the Nederlander Theatre, and we got an eyeful. Fun fact that might make someone jealous:
Tommy Bracco was the choreographer of a musical number I did at a camp. I got to get to know him personally for a week.

I always find it fascinating how they divide up the dressing rooms. It looks like there are two dressings for for five girls total, and a couple of male leads who get a dressing room with one or two other people, and Jeremy Jordan’s room. But then, how many boys are packed into the ensemble dressing room? Are there several male ensemble dressing rooms at this show? I mean, the sheer number of male ensemble members in this show is insane.
At 7:29, in the backround Tommy held up the to tacks and he saiid tic tack. That made me laugh so hard!!

Ben said that the Nederlander Theater had a lot of history, and he's right. In the 1960s, the Nederlander Theater was called the Billy Rose Theater, and it was here that Edward Albee's famous play, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf"? was first performed, on 13th October, 1962. By the way, don't miss "Newsies". It's sensational. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Gotta love Laurie. I saw her as Natalie in Next to Normal out here in Milwaukee. She was amazing! Wish I had the opportunity to see this wonderful show. Thanks for the backstage tour!
