I use the BCW storage boxes. The boxes come with lids. They and I are in USA.

I have around 100 postcards, so it's not much, but I hang them all over my bed ☺️ that's the best wallpaper I can imagine, haha

The ikea boxes are a great tip. I still haven't figured out the best way to store my cards. Now they are in chronological order, but I have a feeling there must be another better way out there somewhere haha. Thanks for your lovely video Caroline, bisous
Hi Lieve! Yes when you have lots of postcards it’s difficult to find a perfect way to store your postcards. Chronological order is also very nice! Mine are also in chronological order but under each country. Have a lovely day my dear and thanks a lot for your comment!!! I really appreciate it! 😘

That's a good way to store them! I have mine in one box altogether. I started last year in spring, so they fit in that box for now.
I always put the newest cards I have received on my fridge with magnets so that I can look at them and everyone who comes can see them. And sometimes I post a pic on Instagram.

I was so happy to see that you uploaded another video! and it was such a interesting to watch! ❤️ I absolutely agree, storaging postcards in boxes its the best way. I storage my cards in 3 boxes and I organize them by themes. I also have another box just for letters from my penpals. I admire all people that storage their postcards in albums. I would probably need like thousand albums for my postcards collection 😂

Since I still have more or less 400 postcards I organize them in an album. The doubles to send I have them on a small shoe box.

almost 14 years in postcrossing also but i focused on private swaps since I have postcards preferences. :) i also put mine in plastic boxes like yours... haha!

I store my postcards in a box. I bought the album but realized it was not the best solution because postcards are not the same size. Most don’t fit on the album 😬

Yes albums are not the best solution because of the sizes of postcards that vary and also at some point (if your collection will grow) it will take up way to much space in your home! I was using albums at the beginning but stopped doing this after a year or so 😀 oh thank you for the color of my dress! me too.it all ended up in the box. only manages to make ONE album and then,,nahhh all different sizes...in the pretty box they go hihih

i put them all in 3 ring binders in those photo sheets i think it keeps them protected and more storage space than the boxes. but whatever you feel is good do it

Thanks for this video!! I have a question for you, if a user send you a postcard from another country how do you store it? (For example a german postcrossing user that send you a postcard in vacation from Poland, do you store it under Germany or Poland ?) Thanks for your attention ;)

basically you sort them by country. Nice. was planning to do the same too. So, do you keep ALL the postcards you received? or do you also have to discard or throw some? and where does the postcard you received from Brunei in the box :-)

I store them by the ID country so if the card has a ID let’s say from Denmark but has been sent from Germany and has a Germany view on the front I will store it under Denmark. Hi!!! I sometimes go back an re read some of the cards I have received over the years but it doesn't happen very often as I have more than 5400 postcards received so it's a bit difficult.
