I just listened to the beginning and skipped to the end to see the drastic changes of the nostalgic theme, I remember them all but this came a long way, KH3's version and BBS' dearly beloved theme
KH2's is my favourite one. Then I'd say BBS (probably because it's also the end theme and it fits perfectly with the scene) and KH3. I love how each version is somehow linked to the mood of its game, with Days for instance using flutes just like in Roxas's theme.
God these songs are so beautiful. When u just spend the time in admiring the craft of the loading screen + music and knowing the story... man it makes u cry. Especially KH3 and 2. KH2fm just Sora and Roxas sitting there knowing roxas' sad story (kh2 was my first kh game). I've played every base game other than BBS and 3. I never got to play the PS2 final mix games because they didn't come to Australia. I gotta get a PS4 and play through them again.

KH3D was a good one but sounded... idk- couldn’t really say why, but my feels are different when it drops, it’s still good though! Controversial as it may seem- I do love the wind instrument and simplicity of 358’s version- but 3 and BBS are so fuckin unlike the other games in their grandiose feel and tone, while still sounding sad/happy in their own way. Melody of Memory though? Holy fuck don’t even get me STARTED on that one. 💜 I LOVE IT. (Edit: the main reason 358 is at the top is HONESTLY cuz I just love the story. Roxas had always been a character that mystified me when i first played 2- but when he got his own game on my fave handheld at the time? You bet your ass I got it for christmas!)

God I know for a fact when I get older these themes will be so nostalgic for me and I will for a fact make my children play Kingdom Hearts.
Before it was KH1 because nostalgia, but goddamnit KH3 takes the top spot. I sobbed uncontrollably when it first played.
