    sir what is the use of dark current.. in reverse bias the current generated due to light is in micro amperes where do we use this current in real time application?

    Please explain,Why Covalent bonds are stronger in p/n type than compared to depletion region?

      In Depletion region, there will be ions only and with ions covalent bonds are always weaker compared to normal Semiconductor material. You can study that from energy band diagram even.

      I think it is not necessarily accurate to say that covalent bonds in the p/n-type regions are stronger than those in the depletion region. The correct perspective is that in the p/n-type regions, electron-hole pairs, or excitons, rapidly recombine because there's no electric field to separate them, thus they do not contribute significantly to the photocurrent.
