Hi there, this sounds very interesting, could you please tell me where can i sign up as well, i'm in Spokane,Wa, is there a facility here, if not is there one in the works, how can this procedure be done, when i live in eastern Wa, will my body have to be taken to Auburn Wa, is this the only facility & how much does this all cost?
Well, that's weird, because pretty much the rest of the world does it this way (although slower). Only a select few countries think that it's natural to drain a body of all it's liquids and fill it up with chemicals so toxic you wouldn't be allowed to put it in a landfill.
NYS recently approved 'green' option for burial. But there is only one in the central ny area, so Im hoping it catches on. I def don't want toxic chemical being pumped into my corpse and poisoning the soil. They don't have a compost facility, but we have a green cemetary. I'd be happy with that over the alternative.
ASHES TO ASHES, dust to dust. from the soil we came, to the soil we should return. I'm down. This is the ideal end to Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree. when the old man dies after resting on the stump, atone by give him back to the tree that it may live again.
Wood chipper first and we can get that 30-45 days down to 15 days. Cut costs and get your remains growing flowers for others faster. Might as well diy. $3000 for them to do it vs $500 wood chipper at the local harbor discount tool store. Any Mafia type ( edit; criminals -> business men) want to chime in how well the wood chipper works?
You notice how they keep saying animal carcasses. Where men eat animals but men do not eat men, so when in the future will it be, where people won't even know this is happening but then our food is grown with human compost and will we not become cannibals by eating other people's compose bodies, this is something that I haven't seen anybody else ask either, and when you give someone a an inch don't they always take a mile. I mean think about the ramifications of what will happen. And do we really need to do this or as we have seen in the last few years are they keeping it quite and purposely trying to keep us in the dark, fake news. Look at what's happening with covid now. There's a reason in war the bodies are burned, there's a reason for the way we bury our dead, or cremate our dead. Highlighting the word REASON.
Ma'am.... I'm a Retired Combat Veteran, I have five total years of combat tours and I've seen A LOT of dead bodies. Not one time, have I seen a body [purposely] burned, simply as a result of the war. Now, I've seen quite a few burned, as a result of many types of attacks. I've seen bodies purposely burned, by enemy combatants. Bodies we're burned, during the medieval ages, as a means to eradicate illnesses (black plague, et al), because they did not have sufficient knowledge to deal with and control those illnesses, as we [mostly] do now. We bury, or cremate, our dead, because we are self-aware creatures and it gives us a peaceful sense of not just callously disposing of our loved ones, as we would most animals. Where is ANY difference between composting a human, than composting a cow, or any other animal(s)...other than we are humans, we are cognizant creatures and have feelings as such?
September 2022. Governor Newson in california passed a bill for compost. He directly said cremation is an energy and environmental no-no. So he is forcing the issue. This will become an obligation not an option soon enough.
@@romanvanousek6846 Livestock is not only slaughter animals and even those have vastly higher concentrations of (for example) antibiotics than any human that is not currently on the drug. If those animal are safe to eat, humans are definitely safe to compost. AND: the US has a "tradition" of pumping their dead people full of really toxic chemicals to preserve them. Dehumanization? No. War is dehumanization. Creating corpses out of people who would otherwise live long lives is dehumanization. This is a lot better to earth than drawing petroleum out of oceans and forests.
I would be interested to know what part of this process is "de-humanizing" in your eyes...As far as I can tell, this is a better way to facilitate the natural "circle of life" all humans are a part of. Unless you somehow think we're separate from nature and its processes. Turning a body to ash in a giant oven (cremation) or turning a human body into a large piece of taxidermy (embalming) seems much more inefficient and de-humanizing in my eyes. I would rather give my energy content back to this planet than take up space in an unused fashion.
Then your grown "children" have a choice they can make for themselves. It's not required, it's an option, and a much more natural option at that. I would greatly prefer this over my blood being drained into the sewer, pumped full of carcinogenic chemicals and sealed in a cement vault underground. For what? So someone can see me in an open casket for an hour and I wouldn't even look like myself? If it is not for you, fine. Don't opt for it. Don't deny others the opportunity though. I mean, you drink tons of pee daily if you consume water (which you need to in one form or another or you wouldn't be alive.) It's just been treated.
This is only one way they do it the other way they do it is pretty disgusting as well. IT'S funny how they always make sound so nice & reasonable like they do every thing else.
You don't just become a tree, you become a forest.
I hope this option becomes available nation wide.

The biggest challenge is the funeral industry, they don’t want to lose all that money on simple & cheap burials

Can't but think of the next stage of this idea turned into what that 1973 movie Soylent Green was about!

Send surplus to burnt forest.
I would like to start a human composting franchise.
The Orthodox church inters bodies of departed monks for four years. Then the bodies are exhumed and the bones are cleaned and placed in reliquaries.
Interesting idea. Maybe when my numbers up I’d consider this as my option if and when it’s available in the northeast USA.
It is now available in Vermont, as well as Colorado, Washington state & now California too.

Isn’t this similar to what’s done with pets - minus the adding to flower beds part. Bones don’t break down naturally.
the tannins will do it.
Cremation smells so horrible can’t imagine what it’s doing to the air.
I am all for it.
Dude I ran into this video wondering if we can compost our poop
It's not working out too well for North Korea... They're infected with tons of parasites and are getting very ill...

Not as scary as burning the body.

I don’t want to be cremated the brain explodes during the process
