It seems to me that the Rode is the better choice for long range recording from a distance. I am a Real Estate Agent and will usually be less than 20 feet from my camera. I bought the Blink. Great video. Very informative.
Another great video and a super in-depth review! Thank you so much, Good Sir! I was really impressed with the performance of the Saramonic - and I think that it is a great value! I can't think of too many applications that would require the extreme distance that the Rode is capable of - even though that was a super impressive feat! Thank you again!
I don't see this short range being a problem. Do you really want people multiple blocks down listening to your wireless mic? You really only want it to work in your room.
Just seen this excellent review - I didnt know about the indicator light thing either, I thought green was fully charged but it was out of power !! I am having a lot of issues with using the Saramonic with my smartphone, so have you a tutal on this rather than just a DSLR ?
You can buy the saramonic twin mic set from amazon uk for £69. Amazon are giving a huge £50 discount…plus you get an extra lav mic set worth £39 free….now thats a deal.
Another thorough and interesting review. Personally I love the Wireless Go but concidering the Saramonic is so much cheaper I would probably give it a go. I have actually had two clips on the Wireless Go fail on me recently but I haven't worked out if they were faulty or it was down to user error (not mine) :)
@@theTechNotice the standard package for the Neewer NW-7000's is 4 in 1, but if you select the 5 in 1 package you get a headset with it, could you please do a review on that headset?

Really awesome and in depth video. You covered everything I needed to know and this helped me decide what I need for my next shoot!
Exactly what I needed! Thanks for making this video! :-)

How is the battery life compare to each other ? Love your vids btw!!!
It was really hard to understand when the saramonic is dead since the battery indicator was very confusing.

is there any mic that you recommend other than these?
can you make a review on the headset that comes with the NW-7000?

is there a dead cat for Blink 500?
Yes it has
Saramonic although well endowed, sounded a bit subdued though....or is it just me?
🤔
Rode is always quieter then all these budget knock offs
I prefer the sound of the Saramonic
