Thanks bro! I’m going to have the rev9 exhaust on my 428i after watch your video! Keep going bro!
YO you just helped me find a sound I have been searching for EVERYWHERE. 12:02
I can't express the coincidence of this- incredibly grateful. THANK YOU.
how did you end up moving the e-brake cable? having the same issue on my 3series. took it to BMW and they tried charging 1100 claiming they had to remove the drive shaft just to replace e-brake clip.
@@victimlol Honestly, it's not easy at all of you don't drop the driveshaft. You'll have to lower the gas tank as low as you can to get the new clip over the bolt. Definitely want either a lift or some nice jackstands
@@malarryya do you know if theres a video online anywhere that shows how its done? i'm not tryna blow 1100 at BMW
Sounds amazing bro
Sounds sick
I think you did a great job man it sounds great to me.
@@Metoy3r two questions, how is the performance? and how did you get rid of the check engine light? Thanks!
@@anthonypipia6990 the performance is better with the downpipe. I would say easy 15-20 hp. And I got ride of the CEL with the tune that I did. You won’t be able to without a tune unless you just want to clear the code some other way
@@Metoy3r I was thinking maybe use foulers to trick the computers, not sure if you’re familiar
Cant wait to put this on my beemer and also get bootmod3
Was the v clamp and the gasket the only things you needed to replace I just bought a used one but the guy just gave me the pipe no bolts or clamps so I was wondering if I can re use everything else
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you show how you fixed the scratching sound ? I have the same issue
nice video bro!!
where can i buy that new one clamps??
can i get serial number?? about mid pipe clamp that you bought??
I think it's better so that my car can be heard well Dual exhaust o in Jen cold air intake o Downpipe
definitely tune your car, I have a 428i stage 1 and it makes a huge difference from stock. stage 2 soon
Hey man how do you make it into a stage 2? that is intresting i have a 430i and want more power!
Do I need to replace both clamps?
Yo what’s up after installing I’m having a stall at high acceleration it stalls and then back fires from exhaust help if you can would be great
air intake
Chargepipe
Vrsf Down pipe
Hmm have you checked your seals where the clamps are? To make sure there’s no boost/exhaust leak? Also did you change the gasket ring?
Hello , good to find your video. Very helpful video. I have a question, do you get a engine warning light on? 😊 thanks
Yes this install will cause an engine light to come on. It can only be removed with a tune
How did you move the e brake cable away?
I had to remove the heat shield toward the back of the car and then reached around the drivetrain to get to the broken clip.
Question is the N20 downpipe the same exact as for the N26?
yes usually they are one in the same. just make sure before you buy it you check with the manufacturer
Was this car xdrive?? I want to do it to my 2020 430i but I heard it’s hard with xdrive because of the front trans?
Hey bro, will I have a check engine light when I install the catless down?
arent cat deletes illegal ? i wanna get this but a lot of people are saying not to
Did you end up liking this mod for the car ? Would you recommend thanks in advance.
What is the item number for the clamp?
Part Numbers for this entire install
Genuine BMW Exhaust/Muffler Clamp; Front: BM-18307606136
Genuine BMW Exhaust Muffler Clamp; Rear: BM-18307628660
See this website for verification: www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=3N73-USA-06-2014-F32-BMW-428i&diagId=18_0987
did the downpipe cause your checkengine light to turn on?
Yes I now have a Check engine light but I plan on getting rid of it when I tune my car
Did you ever experience a drone while driving? How was the smell with this set up?
what muffler is that ?? dope set up
Thanks! It’s called the rev 9 axel back exhaust with muffler delete. Link is in the description of my exhaust video
Can you please tell me how good is acceleration on this car? Cause the car is kinda heavy and i'm thinking of getting one. If you catch time could you film video about that?
I actually think the acceleration is on of this cars strong areas. It is really quick but I feel it struggles in the higher gears. Acceleration is great though
@@Metoy3r thanks man. 6.5 (acc.on autodata.com). That is actually pretty good.
@@antebrekalo3108 Faster than that, i get 5.3-5.6 consistently on my stock n26 F30.
@@machucast Yeah, but this is convertible and convertible is heavier than f32 coupe or f30 for around 250kg (550 pounds)
Did you get the check engine light after installing this downpipe? And did the bracket holdings line up with the bolts?
Yes I did get a CEL with the downpipe. And what bracket holdings are you talking about? This VRSf down pipe did require a bracket
@@Metoy3r Not really sure, looks like if you try an install an N20 downpipe on N26 the bracket holdings don't line up with the bolts. Thanks man and the car sounds great.
@@Metoy3r Hey bud, one more question..did you ever cut out the second cats that N26 has (between the downpipe and the resonator)? I feel like if N26 is catless downpiped there is going to be a lot of pressure on the second cats that N26 has and it might trigger some issues
I personally have no cut the secondary cats! I haven’t had issues this far but I will look into that, thanks
Should I buy new clamps just in case?
It’s never a bad idea to buy new clamps, especially if you suspect rust. Better to be safe than sorry
So how was the fuel smell after switching to catless? No codes?
Catless will definitely throw a check engine light but on the n20/n26 engine in particular the gas smell wasn’t too bad. Noticeable change but not terrible or unbearable
Awesome, thanks! My understanding is that the check engine light can be coded out, do you know if that’s true?
A catless DP causes a check engine light, how did you manage to sell it with this?
@@Metoy3r so adding the catless down pipe did kick a cel ? Thinking of getting one for my car but don't want to have to flash it to remove cel. I understand from what I have read that the stock cat it very restrive and you get better spool if you change it to something aftermarket. Just trying to find some information on this.
Yeah a cat less will def throw a CEL. If you don’t wanna tune it I suggest getting a different app that can clear codes
@@Metoy3r I currently have Beemercode for it but probably no way to code it out thur there. But if you clear it out with a scanner it most likely just return after some driving time
Do I need to 2 set of v clamps and 2 gaskets? Or what do I need
Although you don’t NEED new clamps it is definitely recommended. And I would get a new gasket
Yeah there is just one gasket that connects to the turbo side. The midpipe side doesn’t have a gasket
@@Metoy3r do you happen to know the item number for the new clamp you decided to purchase?
How did you move the ebrake cable?
bro ngl this was probably the best install video I've seen on how to install this dp
I appreciate that man
