Wow, I just did it today! All the traffic signs just disappeared and the traffic lights became all these pretty colors! Made driving a heck of a lot easier.
As someone that’s been wearing glasses since first grade I can 100 percent tell you you eventually get over the whole “ I’m weird cause I wear glasses “ thing. It’s to the point I’ve worn them so long my face looks wrong and off putting to myself when I take them off Lmao.this lady obviously doesn’t have bad enough eye issues where it impedes everything she does cause she wouldn’t be doing this bs otherwise.
U GET IT. everyone who doesn't wear glasses who's told me to get contacts instead just don't grasp how like, ingrained it becomes into your self-perception once you've worn them for a majority of your life. the way they get talked about like a hinderance feels crazy bc when you've had them long enough they're anything but. either she got glasses for a very minor discrepancy that changed little enough where she feels like everyone has it like that or she doesn't at all and is just lying (the glasses she put on do look like they could be prescription but they also easily look like regular anti uv glasses). bc it's same vibe

I’ve had bifocals since I was very young and it’s so ingrained into me by now having glasses that idk if I’d want to get laser eye surgery ( can’t get contacts cause of an astigmatism). @@obi-wan-pierogi Wait, contact don't do anything for astigmatism? That is news to me! I have astigmatism and I had plenty of people telling me that contacts could be good for me. The only ones I have ever used were coloured ones for cosplay and that was enough to convince me to never try them again. If glasses are a hassle, contacts are so much worse.
I stopped requiring glasses when I was in high school and I still think I look weird without them. I need reading glasses now but unless I have bifocals and wear them 24/7 I forget they exist soooooo
As an adult you get over viewing people differently for wearing glasses too. It’s not nerdy, or quirky, or even really noticeable. Some people just have glasses. It’s so incredibly normal it’s “meh” 🤷♀️
I feel like glasses being a dorky thing is such a childish Disney cartoon thing. Like, I’ve never seen someone in reality make fun of someone wearing glasses.
Oh, I have, but also, I grew up in the 90s and my glasses were very thick, and many kids had never seen that before. I was born like that and started wearing glasses right after toddlerhood.
@@theoddbox as a kid i really wanted to get glasses because it seemed like a fun interesting process and i completely forgot that it came with bad eyesight. I just thought it would be nice to go to the pretty store with all the glasses on the walls, get tested and pick a set of frames😭
when i was a kid i wanted glasses because i thought they were cool and i lied about my eyesight being bad and lied during the eye exam and got reading glasses. and then a couple years later i got bored and never wore my glasses again. and my mom asked me about it a few days ago, she's convinced that by some miracle my vision got better and i still don't have the courage to tell her it was all a scam so i could wear another fashion accessory.
omg i lied about having bad eyesight to get glasses too but then my eyesight actually did get worse because of the glasses and now i can't see without glasses or contacts lol
In 2017 I went to NZ and met this woman who had a ton of self help books and I found one- although I’m forgetting the name- that was mostly about trauma and my dad had just passed away so I was in my self discovery phase. Anyways it was so long and I felt like the author had some really poignant thoughts that touched me and brought me to tears at points, and then it the last chapter or so he takes all that knowledge to say that if I stopped wearing glasses my body would learn to show me only the things I really needed to see and I remember reading it and being like “ah fuck, he’s crazy”
By that logic, my friend who only the past year finally realized that he needed glasses would have been fine all along and the migraines he was getting from the stress of poor visions were just his body saying that he was an idiot for trying to live his life and should go live in a cave or something. /themoreyouknow While there are some people who have poor vision due to trauma, those are thankfully very rare. (And psure those are in the camp of "I don't understand why your eyesight is so bad, your eyes are totally healthy and normal" as most psychosomatic illnesses tend to be....)
@@ٴٴٴٴ_0 yeah it’s weird I don’t feel as if glasses are this huge problem plaguing society that needs to be solved. I mean I’d love to have good eyesight but also it’s one of the last things in my life that I stress over, I just put in contacts and move on with my day. I don’t think I need to risk striking someone with my car in order to dismantle the glasses fraud lol

This makes sense! My sister almost had a lazy eye and she had to put these special eye drops and special glasses with different amounts of intensity or whatever its called lol. Now she doesnt have it and barely wears her glasses lol
@@ghoulishtoadit's kind of wild, turns out pretty much everyone's eyes are slightly wonky and point outwards or inwards towards the nose (mine do a LOT lol, but it only shows up when I'm having a weird kind of migraine). It's just, most everyone has muscles to make them point forward, and our brain is just kind of doing that in the background ALL THE TIME. So when you have a lazy eye, you actually have weak muscles! The special glasses etc are literally to get your eyes to pretty much do REPS. Get swole, eyes!
I think what people forget is that there are things you can do to minimize the vision impairment and plenty of things to genuine take care of your vision. Just like how you take care of your teeth or your hair or whatever, there are ways to care and help your eyes but always to an extent. Because at some point if you have poor eye genetics... you're probably going to naturally just have bad eye sight over time. If you have other conditions, then it's impossible to 'cure.' Taking care of your eyes and having access to medication that can help prevent decay is 100% a true thing but as someone with horrible vision nothing can magically truly reverse it.
You think this lady had to wear glasses at some point for some minor issue that ended up correcting itself, as minor eyesight issues can sometimes do, and she somehow became convinced that she had healed herself with spirituality?
my bet is astigmatism personally, it can both go away with correction and come back if you're not working on it in some cases maybe she even has it back from not wearing glasses and that's why she looks so unfocused, she just can't see anything
@@xylophone_888yeah I have an astigmatism and I think that’s exactly what happened to her. I actually had that happen to me the astigmatism stopped effecting my vision after a few years of correction so I stopped wearing glasses. It’s since come back to the way my vision was before glasses but I see fine still mostly just lights that bother me but I mean even then I love the astigmatism halos
and you just know that if someone writes a comment under her post like 'this didnt work, dont waste your money', she will claim that they didnt do it right, or didnt believe in themselves or whatever other bullshit she comes up with to shift the blame of her quackery onto the victim of her scam
3 minutes in and I'm already terrified for the people living around anyone who follows this lady. This is dangerous af. I hope this lady ends up with bad vision some day so she can see what it's like! Edit: Also, when I realized I needed glasses in 9th grade, I was excited. I've always looked better in glasses, and I thought it was amazing how my friend's glasses made my vision sharp enough to see leaves on the trees.
@@lisahoshowsky4251 Trueeee. The first thing I noticed after I got my first glasses was "wait... I'm supposed to see individual leaves?? Not just a blob of green for trees???"
i remember seeing the leaves on trees for the first time after getting my first pair of glasses in 5th(?) grade and my jaw dropped i never knew there was such intricate detail to everything around me lol. it did trip me out to a far extent and i never wore/wear my glasses even close to regularly. i'm nearsighted so i only wear glasses when i need to see to that degree of detail.
i've needed to wear glasses since i was like. six, i'm very nearsighted and i've only ever needed stronger lenses in the years since. my vision is so bad that i can only clearly see objects like 3 inches in front of my face. y'know what's so crazy about all of that though? is that when i was six, i consistently told my mom that i couldn't see very well and she just thought i was lying to get glasses. it wasn't until a teacher at my school told her that i was having trouble seeing the board that she took me to the eye doctor, and the DOCTOR told her that my vision probably wouldn't have been so bad if she had actually taken me sooner.💀
kinda scared you went through an educational system that didnt test your eyes, hearing sooner. paretns are classically terrible at catchign this stuff, thweyre not doctors, this is why schols in usa test for these things ( and do things such as headlice checks in some parts of the country ) be better parents. but for real, schools test your vision and hearing bc parents are pretty dumb or think kids are lying
I have Velma-level vision - losing my glasses has me blindly feeling around because I quite literally can't see past my nose. I used to say TV ads for this kinda shit and it's always made me laugh.
This sort of thing makes me so mad as someone who's needed glasses since grade one due to a defect in the way my body produced collagen, which I was born with. It's blatant that people who make up and peddle these "holistic cures" are wanting to take advantage of desperate people who may be insecure about having glasses, or may be experiencing a significant visual impairment that reduces their independence and quality of life. The way she centers herself to be a saviour for these people while, in the same breath, accusing those who rightfully don't buy into her tactics as wanting to "remain a victim" (as if accepting that you have an irreversible medical condition is at all the same as having a victim complex) is both infuriating and frightening too, because it's a very easy way to get these people who are so desperate to have this problem gone on her side, because "at least they're doing *something* compared to those who sit around and do nothing and give in to their condition." But hey, if she claims that she has the cure to blindness and visual impairment and it's only $11, then we'd be stupid to not take that opportunity, right? Who cares about the implications around someone claiming to have special abilities that the rest of the population doesn't and is positioning themselves as being a selfless healer for the disadvantaged, because surely there must be something about it that over 600 people have asked to join the masterclass! (Said sarcastically)
I am p much legally blind without my glasses. They don’t even get me to 20/20 vision. I have a strong astigmatism as well. But yeah I totally don’t need them and I can see the ground and not trip over. I literally would not be able to recognise faces. I can barely see faces from like a metre away.
Love this woman’s audacity /s. My eyes don’t focus well without my glasses, and there are some days when I’m wearing my contacts where I have to force myself to focus, causing eye strain in the process. Sometimes even when I’m wearing my glasses, my eyes struggle to focus. This makes reading and writing extremely difficult on days when my eyes won’t cooperate. My optometrist said I might need bifocals in my twenties (I’ll be 20 soon). Not the scariest thing I’ve been told, considering I had to get an MRI in middle school to make sure my rapid vision loss wasn’t being caused by a tumor. I may only be -3.75 and -2.25, but I went from 20/20 to -2.25 and -2.00 in about 3 years. Wasn’t a tumor, just shitty genetics that some $11/month class won’t fix.
Normally I'm fine with the weirdo scams like this because they're usually priced so high that I have zero empathy for the morons that buy in. But something about this being so cheap feels more sinister, because it's not just targeting people with more money than braincells.
As a kid i was legally blind in one eye; perfect vision in the other. I didn’t think I needed glasses, until a mandatory vision test in 1st grade. After that I wore glasses and an eyepatch for 5 years to try and get my vision in my weak eye better; managed to get it from 20/200 to 20/40 in that eye. Now due to technological advances, there’s even a special type of lense that allows me to have depth perception. I’ve never been able to perceive depth in my life it’s just been something I sort of estimated, but it’s not really a thing for me. But now I can sort of experience it and I’m so grateful. Wearing glasses isn’t just a matter of “it’s blurry help me see good.” Without that sort of thing I would be in a very different place right now.
@@bignonoIamAgirl it’s kinda confusing but it basically forces the eyes to work together better so that I can perceive depth instead of what usually happens where my good eye does all the work and my weak eye doesn’t rlly do much
@@frey5218 it basically forced it to work on its own which it wasn’t used to doing cause it was used to my good eye doing all the work. It mostly was effective cause I was a kid, I think neuroplasticity plays a huge role too. It sounds crazy but it worked
My vision has progressively gotten much much worse since I got my glasses in middle school, along with having astigmatisms in both my eyes. I had a teacher back in middle school who was legally declared blind without her contact lenses her vision was so bad. Even if I could correct my vision to be perfect, I like my glasses, they complete my face and I feel basically naked without them. This lady obviously doesn’t have extreme vision impairments if her glasses are clearly optional to her.
I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old, and now that I'm in my 20s I'm wearing bifocals (astigmatism). I lost my glasses in a parking lot recently bcuz I was swapping them out for my prescription sunglasses, and had to go to work without glasses for a little over a week before my replacements came in. my vision isn't so bad that it really impacted my work, but it was noticable enough to be frustrating and give my headaches after a while. it's been over two years now since I got new glasses, and I bought two pairs this time round since I was buying them off a pretty cheap site and if anything happens to one pair I still have another one, and my god can I just say? I look SO fucking good in these new glasses, these are just as much accessories to me as they are visual aids and I'm SO happy with how they look on me. maybe this lady is insecure about how she looks with glasses, but for me? I've never felt hotter. my brother and I spent a whole evening going through this website and picking these glasses out for me and he had to basically force me to whittle the options down when I had a whole TEN OPTIONS I'd grown very attached to. anyway, I kindaaaa feel bad for this lady, but not much. if she's gonna weaponize her own and other people's insecurities about their glasses for a quick buck then I can't find myself having much sympathy. but for anyone else in the comments feeling insecure about having to wear glasses, bring a friend or two with you to pick out your next pair! get some outside input and make it fun! try on frames you think would be funny and you might surprise yourself that they actually look really good on you! pick up something unconventional maybe, that's what I did and they're my favorite frames yet! there are soooo many beautiful and unique frames you can get online for cheap too, and they'll let you "try on" a pair by using your camera if you aren't sure. I promise, once you've been wearing glasses for a while, it becomes basically second nature. you will not feel insecure forever and you will grow to love the way your glasses help you express yourself!
I’m someone who needed glasses as a kid, had lots of treatments and I stopped needing them at around 19. It was certainly not mental, I had to wear an eyepatch for a few years in order to be able to see. I was super blind as a kid, I couldn’t do anything without my glasses. As easy as it is to laugh at this woman, what she is promoting is potentially dangerous, if someone gets behind the wheel without their glasses believing to be cured by her they could get into an accident.
as a member of the legally blind community, i can confirm that there is in fact, a physical reason i cannot see! but i dont need a masterclass to tell me that 😀 haha
can't wait to tell my grandma who had eye surgery for glaucoma and still needs glasses that she didn't need that surgery and can start saving so much money on glasses because of this magical course!!
waiting for her next course 'your body was designed to make insulin and process glucose correctly, diabetes is a choice, buy this $10 class to learn how you dont need to take insulin' and the next classic 'your body was designed to deal with mutations within cells, the tumor in your body is a choice, learn how in this $10 course'
shit man, been legally blind my whole life and this lady had the solution all along. ig i was just close minded n wanted to be a victim all along shiiit. thank god for this woman opening my eyes
My eyesight did improve a bit when I was forced to wear an older prescription for a couple of years. I guess my eyes technically adapted to not having as effective lenses, but like I still had to wear glasses. It didn't magically give me 20/20 vision, and my optometrist already told me in the past I should expect my vision to stabilize and not get worse when I hit my twenties. I don't think anything outside of laser is going to drastically change your vision, unless you have a condition that can be fixed with eyedrops, certainly not some $11 made by an ableist lady who thinks folks can just overcome vision impairment/bad eyesight and not being able to hear sounds by your own will.
There are those rare, rare cases that some people who are nearsighted, as they age, instead of winding up also farsighted as gravity gently squashes their peepers out of shape, they actually wind up having their nearsightedness go away because their eyes were functionally pushed back into shape. My dad is one of those lucky sorts. I feel like this lady was one of the lucky few, and instead of understanding what happened, she believed it was something *she* had done.....
I've been wearing glasses since I was 11 and am now (29) at the point that I literally can't read the first giant letter on the alphabet chart without glasses on. That wasn't caused by my wearing glasses, that was caused by my shitty genes and various disorders. But I'll be sure to cure my eyes and throw my very expensive glasses away! Who needs to see stop signs?! Who needs to know what the time is?! Who needs depth perception of any kind?! Certainly not me. I have actually heard anti-glasses stuff before from my friend in school whose older brother told him that actually you shouldn't wear glasses because then you can train your eyes to focus on things better. The more you wear your glasses, the worse your eyes get. And, to be fair, that has applied to me. My friend thought it was *probably* shit advice, and I also thought it was *probably* shit advice...but I do still think about it sometimes, especially at night when I take my glasses off and I literally can't see what time it is and/or have to hold my phone to my face so I can read it. Like darn really could've used those eye push ups focussing exercises.
can’t tell if sarcastic or not, but for other viewers wearing glasses with the proper prescription will often actually *slow* the progression of most conditions, especially astigmatism and nearsightedness. if you’re prescribed glasses or contacts, wear them regularly! if they’re “as needed”, then *do* wear them when you need them. it’ll be worth it in the long run.
@@chiefofthesky not completely sarcastic. The story is true and I do genuinely think sometimes about that because I feel like I could be used as an example for it, but I don't believe it. My eyes are just not good for their own reasons beyond glasses imo but idk. I wear my glasses all the time and they help me see but they have done fuck all when it comes to slowing down my prescription changes. I literally go to the opticians at least once a year and my prescription has changed at least a little bit each time. That's not me exaggerating, that's just how bad my eyes are. I genuinely can barely read the biggest letter on the eye chart sans glasses. The stop sign bit is based on a true story in which I was talking to a friend when I was at university and we were walking to Sainsbury's and talking about what we could see without our glasses on. She said "I can just about see that stop sign", to which I responded in all earnestness "what stop sign?". The time bit is because even though I had a large print digital clock in my room, I couldn't tell what the time was without my glasses. I also don't have good depth perception without my glasses because my eyes are two different prescriptions - one used to be longsighted and the other shortsighted but now they're varying shades of shortsighted (extremely bad vs really very bad). I'm sure for other people wearing their glasses helps. I have my glasses permanently on my face unless I'm cleaning myself or sleeping myself, they have been since I was 12. I was wearing them full-time then anyway but my optician told me that I should be doing that at that point. I don't think wearing glasses wrecked my eyes but I do have one of those "what if I had stopped wearing glasses (or done eye exercises or whatever)" thoughts. Like, I don't believe it could really do anything but I just wonder if it could've magically helped and maybe I could see the keyboard right now without my face being right next to it lmao tl;dr: based on a true story
Im pretty sure I'm gonna trust my eye doctor who showed me a picture rendering of my actual eyeballs that are slightly too oval shaped, so it makes me nearsighted. im gonna trust him over this quack lady😂
Im also a proud glasses wearer, i love not having to get closer to the cashier counter so i can just look at the Carls jr menu properly (and order the same chicken burger)
I mean, depending on what's wrong with your eyes, you might be able to see a little bit better by consciously focusing your eyes, but that will eventually cause eye strain, so you can't really keep it up. it's quite a jump to go from that to blindness isn't real, since it's all in your mind.
This reminds me of one of the songs we’re learning in chorus that has the lyrics “we all can see (we all can see) if we just believe” Mf I believed and I still can barely see 5 feet in front of me
As someone who has been legally blind since birth, and have worn glasses since I was 5 years old, I think the wildest thing about this is the "optometrists don't want you to know this" part, like most optometrists don't get any money from prescribing you glasses, like they get money for the exam, you being there has already got them paid. It's whatever glasses store you take your prescription to that is going to be getting that money.
My vision has been getting worse with visual snow and sensitivity to light, I only wear my glasses to watch movies and drive- but I would have LOVED glasses while in school...neglectful caregivers refused to allow me to get vision screening because they couldn't accept a child with acomidation needs. I could never see the board in school, missed so many assignments and even teachers wouldn't let me sit closer "just get glasses" I was told...caregivers refused. I had to beg a relative to take me to an optometrist when I was 18, FINALLY, I could see thing, trees had leaves, and I learned I have bad astigmatism in my left eye. Also learned more that I'm colorblind. I went my entire childhood struggling in so many ways, glasses were the easiest thing, yet I was denied that simple accomodation due to adults refusing to accept a child is not indeed 100% healthy like they so desperately wanted to believe in🙄 Adults who parade about how they know everything, knows what's so best to then tell everyone that the person in need is lying, this type of life style is MISERABLE to live with. Some adults fully live in delusion that things are "good actually" and it's the individuals fault for having a different needs than others.
damn i guess my grandma has been choosing to be blind for 50 years, I can't believe she had my mom read phycology books to her and eventually stop painting even tho she's amazing at it, when she could've just chosen to see again!
i'm in nursing school and last year i had a teacher that was, not only anti-vaxx, but also into this "hollistic healing" thing, and truly believed that every illness could be healed with some kind of spiritual stuff and if you think about it very hard you'd be healthy. i bet she'd believe this woman
The only thing I can think of where you have slightly blurry vision and it's not because of your eyes is if you have panic attacks fairly regularly. Even then you should still pop into the optometrist to make sure everything is all good. I had this issue and it eventually resolved on its own as I started having less anxiety
In first grade I kept asking my teacher to move up a row because I couldn’t see the board and when I got to the front I still couldn’t see her writing. First grade teachers don’t write small!! I got glasses and got a -4 prescription and still can’t see text that’s a foot away from my face. Sure Jan.
In some awful pseudoscience / spiritual way I can see the argument that like, as you get older and need glasses maybe you could just. Get better dingus! You were better before. Gotta clear those sins or whatever’s weighing you down from seeing the light 🤪 But I was a child?? What kind of sins do I need to cleanse at the age of 7. What’s morally weighing me down. I bit my sibling???? God gave me an awful astigmatism??? Sure, whatever. I’ll just have glasses thanks
you’re telling me that the ocular migraines i used to get as a result of having astigmatism in my left eye that was immediately resolved by glasses isn’t actually the case??? maybe it’s my spirit
As a member of the fellowship of not being able to see shit, I can confirm I have now cured my vision and I do not need glasses that I have worn since 2nd grade. Thank you random lady 🙏
"Give your body and brain what it needs to heal your vision," sounds like the usual guru speil of "get up early, exorcise, cut out processed food, pray, etc" and that can work to improve a person's vision in certain cases. Diabetes and high blood sugar can severely mess up your vision, and getting that under control can help it do back to where it was. It doesn't fix or diagnose the underlying issue, and when that person fails to adhere to that severe lifestyle, the problem will come back. This is uneducating people.
this video actually made me put on my glasses for the first time in years. I'm someone whose vision had actually improved with zero optical treatment to the bewilderment of my optometrist, and even I can recognize the difference between "our current medical knowledge and technology just doesn't have the means to back this phenomenon yet" and this lady's level of delusion. I didn't find out that I was nearly blind in my left eye until I was about 7. Then, I went through tons of experimental treatments like patching for a few years before, eventually, all I could really do is keep wearing my glasses regularly. I did not do that because I was a depressed 12yo who essentially just didn't want to bother lol, so my eye doctor told me "it's up to you what you want to do, but all i can say is: if you keep wearing them, your eyesight will either stay the same or get better; and if you don't wear them, your eyesight will either stay the same or get worse." Just for me to return for an appointment after a year of not wearing glasses with somehow better vision. He just admitted defeat and said "I don't know anymore. Keep doing whatever because, somehow, it's working for you." Anytime I've gone since then to make sure my lens prescriptions are up to date, I've just been told that they have no idea what will happen with my bad eye. I could start going blind in that eye again someday or not, nobody knows. Every optometrist or ophthalmologist I've seen has said just to protect my right eye with my life because "if you lose your good eye, you're pretty much screwed." But then again, amblyopia (lazy eye) treatment success rates are supposed to plummet after a kid is 6 years old, which was when mine just got started, and it improved drastically over the years.
I have keratoconus which is both genetic and caused by air born allergies and I didn't know about it for years. If it had gone on much longer I would have needed a cornea transplant at 30. I had to get laser eye surgery and I only learned I had it because I went to an eye check up. PLEASE GET YOUR EYES CHECKED. EVEN IF YOU THINK YOUR VISION IS FINE. I THOUGHT MINE WAS AND NOW MY LENSES ARE SO THICK THEY DON'T FIT IN SOME FRAMES.
This reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Bart "cures" Milhouse of his vision impairment and the poor guy ends up being hit by a car seconds later because he thinks it's a dog. As someone who wears glasses, I do notice how much worse my day to day is without them.
I'm pretty nearsighted. If I stretch my arm out, I can barely see my fingernails against my hand. Glasses turn the trees from smears of green to actual leaves. It's pretty awesome to just be able to look at stuff far away.
I did listen to an interview with an astronaut who failed the test to become one a couple times and was able to train his vision enough through an exercise to pass the requirements to go to space, wish I could remember his name 9:51

I hope you eventually bought some of those fake accessory glasses! Some r really fashionable

In 2017 I went to NZ and met this woman who had a ton of self help books and I found one- although I’m forgetting the name- that was mostly about trauma and my dad had just passed away so I was in my self discovery phase. Anyways it was so long and I felt like the author had some really poignant thoughts that touched me and brought me to tears at points, and then it the last chapter or so he takes all that knowledge to say that if I stopped wearing glasses my body would learn to show me only the things I really needed to see and I remember reading it and being like “ah fuck, he’s crazy”
the fact that the author waited til the end to throw u off ur rhythm *had* to have been deliberate 😭
I don't understand why these new age guys obsess over trivial things like glasses or phones
By that logic, my friend who only the past year finally realized that he needed glasses would have been fine all along and the migraines he was getting from the stress of poor visions were just his body saying that he was an idiot for trying to live his life and should go live in a cave or something. /themoreyouknow

If you have other conditions, then it's impossible to 'cure.' Taking care of your eyes and having access to medication that can help prevent decay is 100% a true thing but as someone with horrible vision nothing can magically truly reverse it.

idk if it's just me but her eyes look a little unfocused when she has the glasses off, so maybe she still has vision problems?
my bet is astigmatism personally, it can both go away with correction and come back if you're not working on it in some cases

I used to say TV ads for this kinda shit and it's always made me laugh.
I can't believe she started off her video with the classic spam ad line 😭 "the ONE THING your doctor doesn't want you to know..."
The way she centers herself to be a saviour for these people while, in the same breath, accusing those who rightfully don't buy into her tactics as wanting to "remain a victim" (as if accepting that you have an irreversible medical condition is at all the same as having a victim complex) is both infuriating and frightening too, because it's a very easy way to get these people who are so desperate to have this problem gone on her side, because "at least they're doing *something* compared to those who sit around and do nothing and give in to their condition."
But hey, if she claims that she has the cure to blindness and visual impairment and it's only $11, then we'd be stupid to not take that opportunity, right? Who cares about the implications around someone claiming to have special abilities that the rest of the population doesn't and is positioning themselves as being a selfless healer for the disadvantaged, because surely there must be something about it that over 600 people have asked to join the masterclass!

Wearing glasses isn’t just a matter of “it’s blurry help me see good.” Without that sort of thing I would be in a very different place right now.
there's one for depth perception? whoa i never heard about that
@@bignonoIamAgirl it’s kinda confusing but it basically forces the eyes to work together better so that I can perceive depth instead of what usually happens where my good eye does all the work and my weak eye doesn’t rlly do much

Blindness is a choice indeed
if I choose to leave house without my glasses I'm practically blind the whole day that day.
Damn guess I’ll drive without them, definitely very safe
lmao I would probably hit someone if I did that
Those blobs of color are cars and not kids crossing the street right?

I feel like this lady was one of the lucky few, and instead of understanding what happened, she believed it was something *she* had done.....
that’s incredible, haven’t heard of that kind of progression. huge genetic W for your dad

I love how she takes off the glasses it really helps me understand what shes saying
Like, I don't believe it could really do anything but I just wonder if it could've magically helped and maybe I could see the keyboard right now without my face being right next to it lmao
tl;dr: based on a true story

I mean, depending on what's wrong with your eyes, you might be able to see a little bit better by consciously focusing your eyes, but that will eventually cause eye strain, so you can't really keep it up. it's quite a jump to go from that to blindness isn't real, since it's all in your mind.
This reminds me of one of the songs we’re learning in chorus that has the lyrics “we all can see (we all can see) if we just believe”
Mf I believed and I still can barely see 5 feet in front of me
As someone who has been legally blind since birth, and have worn glasses since I was 5 years old, I think the wildest thing about this is the "optometrists don't want you to know this" part, like most optometrists don't get any money from prescribing you glasses, like they get money for the exam, you being there has already got them paid. It's whatever glasses store you take your prescription to that is going to be getting that money.
Can confirm that after subscribing to this channel my eyesight has not improved or regressed, thank you Evil Pinely
My vision has been getting worse with visual snow and sensitivity to light, I only wear my glasses to watch movies and drive-
but I would have LOVED glasses while in school...neglectful caregivers refused to allow me to get vision screening because they couldn't accept a child with acomidation needs.
I went my entire childhood struggling in so many ways, glasses were the easiest thing, yet I was denied that simple accomodation due to adults refusing to accept a child is not indeed 100% healthy like they so desperately wanted to believe in🙄
Adults who parade about how they know everything, knows what's so best to then tell everyone that the person in need is lying, this type of life style is MISERABLE to live with. Some adults fully live in delusion that things are "good actually" and it's the individuals fault for having a different needs than others.

The only thing I can think of where you have slightly blurry vision and it's not because of your eyes is if you have panic attacks fairly regularly.
I wear glasses. I do technically need them, but only for stuff that's far away.
Other wise i just wear them cuz i look better with them on 🤷
Since i saw this TikTok I stopped wearing glasses. Not because my eyes have been cured, but because I’ve really seen enough
this video actually made me put on my glasses for the first time in years.
Every optometrist or ophthalmologist I've seen has said just to protect my right eye with my life because "if you lose your good eye, you're pretty much screwed." But then again, amblyopia (lazy eye) treatment success rates are supposed to plummet after a kid is 6 years old, which was when mine just got started, and it improved drastically over the years.
as someone who's had legitimate delusions in the past ( I'm better now dw) this is so unhinged to me and sort of reeks of ableism? Lmao 😭
I THOUGHT MINE WAS AND NOW MY LENSES ARE SO THICK THEY DON'T FIT IN SOME FRAMES.
especially if you have frequent headaches
This reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Bart "cures" Milhouse of his vision impairment and the poor guy ends up being hit by a car seconds later because he thinks it's a dog.
As someone who wears glasses, I do notice how much worse my day to day is without them.
multidimensional aspects to this course? What do you have to commune with Cthulhu to get your eyesight back?
Oh shit I gotta set up my optometrist appt for this year, thanks for the heads up Orr 🤗
I'm pretty nearsighted. If I stretch my arm out, I can barely see my fingernails against my hand. Glasses turn the trees from smears of green to actual leaves. It's pretty awesome to just be able to look at stuff far away.
Damn I guess I was born blind in one eye because my embryo brain didn’t believe hard enough, guess that was a skill issue on my part
I did listen to an interview with an astronaut who failed the test to become one a couple times and was able to train his vision enough through an exercise to pass the requirements to go to space, wish I could remember his name 9:51
Your pickle rick video really prepared you for your rick and morty impressions lol
Why do I get the feeling Evil Pinely hides teeth at his optometrist's house...
great Rick and Morty impressions 😂❤
I littraly saw someone use banning glasses as a anology for a tryna ban trans ppl and their transition stuff to show how absurd it is to do so. I cant belive theirs real ppl who are anti glasses
gonna watch this, i sure hope it doesn’t ruin my day! ❤
guys you are not gonna believe this
my low vibrational energy deflated my eyeballs and made them flat on the front and thats why i have astigmatism, can confirm. the vibrating is very important for keeping your eyeballs from deflating.
solid impressions, pinely lol
The fact that I got an ad for glasses in the middle of this is so funny
the only reason blind people can't be healed is because they can't read what she wrote
