8:20 If I could 1 thing, siguro recessed stair lights for night time. sa mga lumalabo ang mata, kahit na maliwanag ung ilaw, mahirap parin sa mata ung black stairs. also, when you wake up sa gabi to get water, turning on the main light will wake u up. so, having the mini lights sa stairs will make a difference.

Extremely attractive and clever use of the space especially how the inside flows to the outside by the glass fronting the deck and garden. The use of cheaper materials would alleviate cost also without losing anything in the outcome. Very clever design.

Simple is elegant. I can see the modern/contemporary Australian house inspired on this design. I would prefer a less subtle color of wood but then again it's still a personal preference

    Uwaaaahh.. Thanks for sharing this.
I always wanted a Japanese-inspired house. And just today I thought of it again and planning to search for some inspirations for future reference. This has been recommended by TH-cam since you uploaded it, but I wasn't clicking on it until today.. and I love that most of what I want to see in my future house are in this design. Like it is minimalist. And the genkan, the patio, and that this house is elavated(or the patio, at least?), And lots of window for natural lighting.
I always believed that house doesn't need to be super big to be livable or to have everything you need for a house. You just need the right style, design, plan, materials and of course the budget.. God willing.

5:05 If I made the same house I would get rid of the split level floor part (and with the level floor) I would make the couch continue around the corner and end at the post on the right (or nearly). You simply couldn't do this with the split level without an uncomfortable part of the couch (with your legs dangling). I would also incorporate a backrest and maybe even have a 45° part of the couch right at the corner with a small gap in the corner. And put a planter in the corner. The perfect house for it if it wasn't for the night tripping split level. Still a great design though.

I like the roomy well-ventilated design. Pero for me I want to have 2 bedrooms siguro kahit wala na yung family area sa 2nd floor. Or ilipat na lang yung family area somewhere sa baba. And I want din a strong roof material para it will last longer at hindi mahirap sa maintenance. Ganda pala ng black tiles sa CR parang low maintenance din. Overall this is a nice tiny house for a small family.

A very clean and sleek design for a small space. I understand the use of glass to create a feeling of space and gives narural light. However, since we are in a tropical country my main concern is the sun rays that enters through those glasses would generate heat inside the house and how its vulnerable also to strong winds during typhoon months. Second, though I love the windows and roof glasses, I kind of wary of safety issues. Other than these, it's a great design for a small house.

i love the design too, looks neat. to add Precious Sword's comments, my utmost concern is the glass cleaning challenges especially that our lot is by the barangay road with medium traffic flow. otherwise, this is really nice.

I totally agree with the door swinging inside ma dudes, user experience wise.
Also, any thoughts about sliding doors naman. Both main barn and pocket doors. Swing and sliding windows. Swinging in, and out. Doors swinging left and right. What are some best practices to look at?
I'm in the customer/user experience industry, and I want to incorporate these architecture best practices.
Thanks in advance, and more power

Hello Ar. Llyan, I've been a fan of you since 2018 pa and what you usually use for vlogging back then was your "Llyan Ausria" youtube account. By the way I am a 5th year Architecture student and I hope you can also design an Amphibious type of house that will be helpful in our country now in order to mitigate flood and that there are also areas in our country that has already been affected by the climate change like areas where their houses get's covered with sea water during high tide just like in Bohol. As for me, this can also help me and my groupmates for our Thesis Project as we have chosen a topic similar to Amphibious Housing as an application for slum resettlements. I hope you can notice my request mah dude! Thank you and I hope I could get to meet you one day! God Bless you po! 🤗

Nice! A fan here of your localized, practical designs, the insufferable jokes notwithstanding ;-). One thing I note, designers always put work tables facing windows looking outwards. For extended hours, we might be better off having the tables facing a wall or the interior space, to reduce direct glare and possible eye damage. Besides having too good (or too busy) a view might end up being counter productive.

Nice one Architect. What is the floor area required to build this one and how much is the estimated cost? I bought a small lot in Pampanga (10x12 sqm) - I thought it was big but the required setback is 3m@front, 2m@side and back, konti na lang natira. I'm wondering if this would fit or if I need to extend to another lot. Thanks a lot :)

You can do firewall sa side or back para magamit mo din yung 2m.

Napansin ko tho na most of your tiny homes may 2nd level. Kung increase yung size to 100 sqm floor area possible na ba yon for a 2BR/2TB home na single level? Kasi iniisip ko pag tanda ko wala na dapat stairs.

I'm always amused by your jokes Arch. Oliver. But aside from the jokes, I love your architectural style. Clean, simple, well thought of design that appeals to both the young and older gen May the good Lord bless the work of your hands always.
