I’m glad you decided to record everything on your trip! Me and my wife watched and cheered you on all the way through this years GBWC! You should be very proud! What does Bandai pay for? Do they pay for your travel? Or do they pay for your hotel as well? Or do they pay for nothing now!? Lol I’ve always been curious.
Thank you! I appreciate that! Bandai basically paid for our round trip ticket to Japan, (We extended our stay so we paid for our return flight tho) they paid for our accomodations, and one lunch 😂 (the lunch we had during the day of the event) but aside from that, we spent our own money
Funny thing is that I bought food from 7/11 everyday that I was there! I would have definitely survived on that 😂 only reason I ate at restaurants and actual food stalls is because other people paid for my food lol But seriously Food in Japan is cheap! I thought Food in the Philippines is cheap already especially compared to the US but food in Japan is half the price compared to the PH. So it’s definitely worth going there even on a budget!
First of all, congratulations on winning the Philippine championship and qualifying for the GBWC that's really an honor. I also visited Japan last March as a tourist (my first time too) and it was an awesome experience. I always wondered if the champions have to book their own trip for the even or is it on Bandia and I am so glad to see that they didn't hold back. Also, I was wondering if they will have to close down the Gundam Base for you so you can prepare your project, but it seems that the store must keep on open for the customers.
Thank you! Japan is awesome indeed, I’m not much for traveling but after experiencing Japan, I’m definitely itching to go back! 😆 Bandai definitely takes care of the finalists, (though it was much better a decade or so ago 🤣) but definitely can’t complain. Gundam base stayed opened, they just put up a couple of staffs and blocked an area for the event itself but the customers were able to see what we were doing and even talked to us and asked what’s happening, which I think is good marketing because more people will know about the contest and might become interested in joining in the future.
Love both your works and Vlog ~ keep up the good work!!! 😌✨
Thank you so much!!
So cool thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
