I personally think "electric" or "rock" Mary are much more interesting than the usual songwriter stuff. There are more "colors" in an electric guitar and it seems to fit well with all the colors Mary have vocally. This was great, just like I really like the Buckley cover on the Carter vintage Guitars channel. 👍

Wow! Mary is an amazing singer but I never really thought that she could pull off a Nirvana song. But she certainly did, with vibe galore. Terrific guitar sounds as well. 🤘🏻
She did amazing. I don't think Nirvana is all that hard to cover though because Kurt couldn't sing or play the guitar very well at all. I loved Nirvana growing up but as my music pallet grew I had a harder time enjoying his poor performances. Just my opinion 🤷

Absolutely one of the best Nirvana covers I’ve heard in a while! Your individuality as an artist through out the song was Well displayed,and the dynamics within your vocal range very much shined!
I'm not sure if I get extra points, but having seen Nirvana do this live once, I can truthfully say, I rather enjoyed that. Mary's vocal range is just bonkers. I also need to move "baritone guitar" up higher on the want list.
Mmmmm, I remember learning to play this at 19 when it came out (93?) In North Vancouver, first time out of home, full of angst. Listening now happy/sad/angry and age bringing melancholy. Missing being that guy. Missing feeling all those strong emotions then, good or bad. Thank you for bringing a little of that back for 6 minutes. I am ok now being older and numb, just not happier.
The vocal recording doesn't actually sound very good. Too much reverb, not enough presence. It sounds like Rhett just wanted everyone to hear his guitar tone lol
