I saw Vincent and Flavia do it in their demos, but I've never seen it in the Strictly competition before. I thought this performance was brilliant.
That requires so much trust and synchronization to pull of, the fact that they made it so seemless is beyond words!

I disagree. The PRO needs to be more of a tanguero in his frame (particularly his right hand/arm) for this dance in order to provide the proper support AND lead - and to teach the follower to lean more forward into him. The choreography and execution were excellent, but this disconnect made it less than great.

I wasn’t sure if this song would work for an Argentine Tango, but my goodness, I was wrong! The power play between them put a completely different spin on this type of dance, with such intensity, passion, storytelling and drama. The shaping, ganchos and lifts were faultless and timing was perfect! Incredible performance that oozed sex appeal and intimacy. Ellie and Vito are my winners without a doubt!
Couldn’t have said it better. Absolutely true. Regarding the music I wasn’t sure but this remix matched their dance perfectly! Absolutely sensational and high class performance by them as always.

Personally the selective track playing diluted the impact of her performance , it was dearth of the staccato dynamics and essence one would speculate in an Argentine tango, thus her performance came across as too placed and choreographed

Should've been straight tens! As for the intimacy, it's quite clear they were playing the story to fit the song (thus affecting the choreography with less A frame). And intensity; they had tons!!! This was incredible!!

Oooooo, that was smouldering and intense, I was shocked at Anton giving this a 9 when he gave Angela and Nigel a 9??? Come on Anton, this was incredible the connection to the floor, the swivels and flicks, the tricks and lifts were some of the best I've seen, I loved the chairwork and Ellie's musicality all the way through, the Argentine Tango's have been strong this year. The ending was exceptional honestly they absolutely got it perfect ❤👏🏻 bravo!!

As a recreational Argentina tango dancer during 14 years, with yearly visits to BsAs, this is the very first time during Strictly, I recognized something essential Argentinean. Craig is right about the A-shape lacking, but the dynamic and connection and posture was Argentinean. Although Argentineans lean more forwards, and put their weight above the front of their feet. Strong interaction with the musicians ! Exciting choice of music. Applause for the orchestra and singers !
I like the 'Cabaret' introduction very much (Gwen Verdon invented the chair choreography). These two are my winners.

I find it very hard most weeks when Craig has to insult everybody then say something good about the dance ,these two are awsome yet everyweek they are undermarked, 😢they all have their favourites and we know who's gona win don't we ,if your face don't fit your off ,

I've watched this a few times now, and each time it gets better and better. The back and forth, the tension, the movement.. I can only hope Craig and Anton's low scoring and bizarre comments means more people vote for them - they have not done a bad dance.. Also shout out to the band and singers, they really did an ace version of this song!
They danced the Argentine Tango specialist's choreography so anything found missing by Craig and Anton wasn't E & V's fault. Best dance of the night, I prefer watching them to any other couple !
Very much a fan of the classical arrangement of a contemporary song. There have been some questionable song versions over the years, but credit where credits due, this one really works

Oh my goodness! I wasn’t sure about this choice of music but it was brilliant. It was dramatic it was sensual. I absolutely loved it. These two are on fire. Best Argentine Tango of the series. I don’t know what the judges are thinking it should have been a 40.

As always... _SHE'S BRILLIANT!! SHE'S PERFECT!!!_ She is honestly the most skilled dancer in the history of Strictly Come Dancing. I am not lying! Usual contestants would have one or two dip dances. But not Ellie Leach! She has only gotten better and better in skill every time she touches the floor. God, if she doesn't win, there is something categorically wrong with this world. Nine is to be expected from Craig, but goddamn it, what possessed Anton to give this a nine?! Bloody hell, what does Ellie Leach have to do?!?!?

what were craig and anton watching? there was more than enough passion. i thought the ganchos needed to be sharper and her shoulders once again tended to raise (which is probably what craig was talking about) but the lifts were fabulous. another phenomenal dance from these two.

Absolutely fantastic! This deserved a 40! I'm not sure what Craig was on about, saying it lacked emotional intensity. My winner for this season, not danced before as far as I know and feel she dances the choreography and content better than Layton week on week.
Wow, Anton & Craig missed the mark so badly with their comment on this stunning performance and Motsi & Shirley were spot on…this dance was about her, she used his strength to amplify hers, they were separate but very much together…phenomenal for an amateur with no formal training. Don’t have much time for Tess Daly, but her two “whats?!?!?” when CRH & AdB said it lacked ‘intimacy’ and ‘intensity’ was right on the money. Glitterball for Ellie & Vito!!
