I pray I can always go to church and quit watching so much TH-cam. I go to my meeting online, because I am not always well, but I need to overcome my fears of others. I guess it depends on what I watch and what I DO with it how I will be judged, when it comes to learning about things.
@@wisdomfrombeyondtheveil Some of us who have health, age, or handicap issues have to be able to watch it online, so the bishop is the one who gives some the permission to be able to watch it on Zoom for when we need to, and to get the sacrament at home. It’s like being in the hospital, and having them come to you. I have a hard time getting ready because of a balance issue, and I have a bad stomach virus that causes pain when it flares up. But we need to go as often as we can, and I do!!
Wow!! He doesn’t pull any punches does he? So in other words, if we are not actively sharing the gospel and doing our Temple work, we will not make it to the Celestial Kingdom, no matter how righteous we are. Wow. I guess the Lord wants to see who is REALLY for Him.
Who is my friend at church?? I don’t have things in common with them, they are married or widowed with grown kids and grandkids. Others are younger, but married with kids. I need to be with my parents and grandparents, but they are deceased.
So... I feel ya. I got nobody at church. I go, sit around for two hours and go home. But it's the right thing to do and if I don't go I'm worse off for it.
@ Makes me sad that it’s hard to feel included. But they do better with me if I get a calling where I serve with them. Then they begin to ask me questions about me and my life.
@ I am the same way….better off if I go. If I end up talking to at least one person, it turns out that I feel more included. And it can’t be a ministering person. They HAVE to watch out for you, and they should come to your house, not take up church meeting time. My opinion. You cannot visit at church about some everyday kinds of things, you have got people all around.
Modern scriptures give clarity on that. D/c 76:34-38 Concerning whom I have said there is no forgiveness in this world nor in the world to come- 35 Having denied the Holy Spirit after having received it, and having denied the Only Begotten Son of the Father, having crucified him unto themselves and put him to an open shame. 36 These are they who shall go away into the lake of fire and brimstone, with the devil and his angels- 37 And the only ones on whom the second death shall have any power; 38 Yea, verily, the only ones who shall not be redeemed in the due time of the Lord, after the sufferings of his wrath.
I loved this talk. I believe it to be 100% gospel truth. Many are members, few are Saints.
Love the comment

Being valiant included keeping the Sabbath day Holy by going to church

Do not fear but be prepared as Moroni did by staying faithful to Jesus Christ and building up fortifications.
Yes. Be prepared make us not to fear

We must be ALL IN
@@wisdomfrombeyondtheveil 💯
He didn’t say anything about missionary work or temple work. He said “courageous and valiant” which were actually the Lord’s own words in D&C 76
I don't live near a temple and I have no car.
@@natemckenna129We need to rise the bar in our life so we can serve God better❤

Just go to church. There is a place for you
You are a sister to all the sisters and brothers in your ward and they need your love just as you need their love.

So what is the state of the jews on the mount of olives when they realize they crucified their messiah? Sounds like he saves them to me.
