I love this video to remind me of how to & where to cut. How can I get more blooms? I’ve had 1 injured about 3 times and the others have been planted about 3 yrs now & I only get about 3 blooms & the blooms seem to dry out quickly.

    What about new wood bloomers?

How would you prune a hydrangea that you can't identify?. I have two I pruned because the blooms were dying off. The stem went from green to black. I hope I didn't destroy them. BTW Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Our Hydrangea's have a spotted fungi or something that keeps coming back in late fall? What can we do?

I think you are misinformed. Early Spring us best time to prune these. If you have to prune in Fall you MUST do it early so stems can harden before frost & they start to firm buds for next year. Buds begin in Fall & then harden for next Spring. You don't know what you are doing.

Actually, it depends on the variety as she mentions in the story and your location in the US. We are a show based in the Pacific NW and the information is for our viewers in this area. They grow and sell over 140 varieties so they know what they are talking about.
