Yea, sure, I mostly use the default setting, color theme is Dark+(default dark), icon theme is Seti. And I mentioned the extensions in the 04:35, I use the "Ember JS (ES6) and Handlebars code snippets" and "Ember snippets".

Hi, I'm unable to start the application with npm start or ember serve, it just serves up the blank page with the following error message.

I'll tried searching in StackOverflow, but most of them are outdated and does not work. Did anyone face this kind of issue before ?

Do you mean IOS/Android hybrid app with EmberJS? I'm not familiar with that, but ember-cli-cordova or ember-cli-framework7 might help.
Why are we using the CDN instead of installing bootstrap?
Also, is bootstrap the most common used as opposed to MateriaUI?

If anyone gets the error 'Install failed. Could not find addon with name: ember-cli-sass' when installing SASS, make sure you already renamed your app.css to app.scss first :)

What ember-cli and node version that you are using ? I can't install it because the version has been updated ? What should I do now ?
You should be able to install ember cli in any node version with "npm install -g ember-cli"

After adding jsconfig ts starts to complaing about broccoli:
.../node_modules/broccoli/lib/index.d.ts' not found.ts
Any idea?
Haven't seen that before, ember cli uses broccoli, can you try to re-install?
@@ShawnCTech tbh i just removed the jsonfig and everything went smooth.
For the complainings about decorators, I just turn it on with vscode configs following this link:

nodejs can be installed in MacOS, and use the command in the video to install ember

why not use typescript instead of javascript ??

my file is empty in studio code, but I know it downloaded..

I'm not sure if this is good or bad but you recycled a videos series that is 2 years old, for something that was popular in 2016. Are there really no improvements and changes since then to this framework???
