These were the glory days of EE. They should have been bending over backwards to keep the cast they had, definitely not writing them out in a fit of tantrum. It does go to show how good their talent was I suppose. Martin Kemp, Tamzin Outhwaite, Craig Fairbrass. Steve Owen is the best soap character of all time. Fact! I just loved the way Martin Kemp portrayed Steve Owen. Steve just knew how to get right under Phil’s skin. There rivalry that they had was so good to watch and it was a real shame Steve was killed off. That was a big mistake in my opinion.
