I had one back in 1984. It didn't have that odd idle sound. I used to take it out on the Bee Line express out of Orlando FL. You could wind it up to about 135 mph. I was kind of stupid back then. Later on an old guy in a Buick knocked me off the road as I was coming back from seeing an ex-girlfriend. We went our separate ways. It to the junk yard and me to the ER. That was a bad night.
They made great power and sounded great doing it. Rebuild the carbs and synchronize them. Check compression first, nothing else matters if there’s not at 140-150 psi
You say that like a dog is a bad thing. I take that as a compliment. I love dogs. I love motorcycles of all sizes and brands. I am partial to the "standard" riding position and I find 500cc more than adequate for backroads touring. This is not meant to be a sport bike or crotch rocket. It's meant to be a pleasand cruiser. I wish I could fine one in this good a condition. I would trade my Honda VLX 600 for it in a heartbeat --- but that's just me.
I've owned two of these bikes in the past. Both were bullet-proof!
Что не говори а такая модель ( старая- классическая) гораздо красивее многих современных байков
Very good bike. I had the blue one.
My favorite bike of all time for what it is
PIĘKNY STAN, GRATULĘ, MAM PODOBNĄ ALE W KOLORZE BORDOWYM
Ow sweet memories! My first motorbike!

Muy bien que trabaja ese motor yo tengo una modelo 81 la lleve para mexico y me vine en ella asta los angeles de sinaloa.
Yup I had one in the 80s great bike no issues oil change and one battery one rear tire good to go! cost me $2800 all in new off the showroom floor!
Też zastanawiam się nad tym motocyklem . Technicznie inna liga i znacznie tańsze od rodzimych klasyków

135mph? The fastest I could get, wot was 110, right at redline too.
@@STP-ok7zh I swear I could get 135. Have you ever been on the bee line express? It's like a straight shot out of Orlando all the way to The coast.

Sounds like a bunch of laughing hyenas at idle. Nice bike though

Don’t sound healthy
Once went to buy one of these for my son.
It couldn't get out of its own way! I love Hondas for reliability etc, but this was worse than a dog.
Did you rev it up past 7000-9800 rpm or yes below that they have no power.
I had one of these back in the early 80s used, it did alright as I remember. They are not sport bikes but ran with my friends sportster.
Train Crazy it had to be a lemon , it happens, those bikes 60 Hp give or take and would scoot
