Looks like a good fire pit, thanks for the update. If I bought one I wouldn’t cook on it, unless it’s an emergency, and I would keep it out of the rain. It seems to wear pretty fast.
That’s what i noticed it rust little bit. Because i rinse with water but the cover is great. I leave it outside no problem at all. But when it rains so hard the water sips inside the fire pit even there’s a cover on it.
I've only used mine a few times and yes, stick wood burns longer than pellets. Seems to work same as the much more $$$$ fire pit. Yeah, not a very good unit to cook on but can boil water really fast.
Do you have to put a base below? I saw one that Pit boss has a version for wood pellets, but this one works good and half the price. Can you add accessories to this firepit?
@@Fr4nkSanchez the accessories is included for grilling i think you can add accessories make sure it fits though. For the base. I don’t put it anything, i just lay on the grass underneath has own ashes catch can.

Seems like it'd be really nice on the back porch for lighting/warmth. Not sure if I'd fully keep it in the elements though.
That would be cool idea. I use this for camping already!

I would agree with that. I never try to boil water. It’s nice for camping for sure. I cook my NY steak for 1 minute and burn it fast😢
I really like mine so far we keep it inside in it's bag
That’s awesome. Did you get any little bit of rust inside?
@@arvicama2680 no but we don't leave it outside plus we just got it this Christmas
I just gotta say, why in the heck does it need all those pieces? Seems like it could and should be pared down to about 3.
At first it looks confusing but it’s easy to assemble. I just leave it like that! Then put the cover provided. It’s better than $300 solo stove lol

Nice bro! I need one. Haha
You should!
Which do you think runs better in them pellets or straight wood?
Pellets burns a lot faster the wood will burns way longer.
Yes, things will go bad prematurely if you don't take care of it like leave it out it the rain, snow, etc.
Yes it is. I know spend little bit of money so i’m good with it
if it is rusting, it is not a good grade of stainless steel
@@akadog6319 what you get what you pay for basically. I guess
