Yeah, I went back to watch this video, and it was pretty crazy. I was looking all over for a violet, and there was a flying giant throwing me off. Sometimes, it is just hard to find a violet, and it's random, so it's hard to make a video to show people exactly what to do for this one. I might reshoot this quest with another character later, if I remember to.
I was dissapointed on the part that its not a drop item and it make my time wasted waiting for it but I'm glad you help me because you made this comment and video
When you defeat the Violet Monster, you should get a "Corrupted Symbol of Shade" item in your inventory to turn in for the quest. I am not sure what happens if your inventory is full.
Finding violet monsters can be a bit random, but I have found that there are general areas that they seem to pop up. You will usually find a Violet Driller and Volt near the area that takes you to Lord Bang.
