0:16 is the moment the track just becomes _fresh_ - this DP4 phaser really was something. I wish someone would make a short documentary about it and its role in french house. And call it: Fresh.
As someone interested in the audio production space but not familiar I'd love to see a documentary about it. This comment let me know the DP4 exists ! Really cool
Thomas and Guy-Man used that phaser A LOT and I can see why because it sounds GODLIKE, the way it lifts the melodies in Fresh, Aerodynamic, Too Long, Gym Tonic or even Santa Claus
@@yphonichs i mean its discos revenge right? A part of it wouldnt even exist. Best we would get it tech house or techno. Still not as good as classic house tho
@@xxx.sfeeju.dpnshfpqpmspzbmf This channel is actually not related to the label at all, its just an archive channel. The name actually comes from the group where multiple artists from the label made songs together that's why its called crydajam.
Amazing tune, but can't help wonder how this high pitched hum got past the mix and mastering. Could it perhaps be on purpose? Makes my ears ring badly. To be fair, I don't have this on vinyl so cannot confirm that the ringing is also present there.

I love this stuff. It's so beautiful. The way people can take part of songs and just flip their lids astounds me, and that's why I love House.
Without disco what would house be?
@@hudode5052 a lot less exciting

Yeah they made ONE SONG on it before the label stopped doing anything else.

what a tune
masterpiece
Someone could freestyle rap to this!
No.
@@Abdominal65 Yes. rap is beautiful genre and is heavily tied to house in many ways. it annoys me that ignorant people like you cant see that.
I can see it being sampled.

It is :( i think its a sample artifact from the pitch shift, so its part of the sample itself? Not sure though.
