Just found your channel. Just saw you talking about Five Finger Death Punch. I had the same reaction. I was homeless for a few years. It took a close friend to help me. God bless you for helping us veterans
I start listening to Manowar because of my cousin, he was a fan of Manowar and he always said that he wants to take me to a concert to see Manowar. We die in 25 of December of 2010 and in 2011 they came to Portugal in Campo Pequeno Arena, i was 2 weeks not listening well after the show. Hail Brothers. More Manowar please!!! p.s- i love your reactions
One should go to a ManOwaR concert at least once... amazing... I was impressed back in 90's and I bet they would make me feel a teen again now in 2021!
The Moment a Band doesent need to sing...because the Crowd is doing it? I think EVERYONE got that experience EVERY Year when "Blind Guardian" were playing at Wacken ^^ Maybe someday u should listen or react to "Blind Guardian" The Bards Song, Mirror Mirror, Valhalla Imagination from the other side...awwww there r so many ^^
Manowar are true legends. Who else could get Christopher Lee and Orson Welles to record heavy metal songs with them. They've also set world records for being the loudest band on Earth. Too bad Americans haven't embraced Manowar as much as the rest of the world, these guys are so talented.
Manowar's Warriors Of The World was literally first song that introduced me to metal (it was 23 years ago...) , and still going STRONG... Thank you for this flashback !!!!! NWSU
\mm/ -> stick your hands out infront of you, ball them into fists, stick out your two pinky fingers left and right, then move your fists together so your left and right index finger and thumb knuckles touch, there you go, supermetal manowar handsign :D \mm/ also the Manowar drinking game is pretty great too, the rules are for one whole album: each participant must take one (1) sip whenever the following words are sung: Metal, Power, Steel, Weapons- (Sword, Spear, Axe, Hammer, Gun etc), Thunder, Fight, Kill/Die/Death, Elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth) the game should last for atleast one ablum length, but can be extended to a second album listening, last man/woman standing is the true champion of the Manowar game, and the ultimate brother/sister of Metal. :D
The complaint I have always heard about manowar is "oh they are terrible because they are so cheesy." It's like bruh, power metal is unrepentantly cheesy. That's why it is great. That's why it is enjoyable. You have all these other genres doing their dark emotional stuff and you've got the power metal bands singing about dungeons and dragons shit. Manowar gets a lot of shit but I don't know many lead singers who can sing fucking Nessun Dorma which the lead singer of manowar did. Manowar paved the way for and gave legitimacy to the power metal that would come after them.
Love Manowar. Been listening to them since the 80s. Loudest band in the world, and Eric Adams is a great singer. There are two singers I would love to hear sing together with Floor. 1. Bruce Dickingsson of Iron Maiden. 2. Eric Adams oof Manowar. An if you doubt Eric Adams listen to Manowar Nessun Dorma. But just look at this list of masterpieces by Manowar. All of them are epic!!! MANOWAR - The Heart of Steel MMXIV - OFFICIAL VIDEO Battlehymn (MMXIV) Dark Avenger (Battle hymns, 1982) Blood Of My Enemies (1984, Hail To England) Fighting the World (1987, Fighting the World) Blow Your Speakers (1987, Fighting the World) Defender (1987, Fighting the World, Live versions available are awesome...) Holy War (1987, Fighting the World) Black Wind, Fire and Steel (1987, Fighting the World) Kings Of Metall (1988, Kings of Metall) The Crown And The Ring (1988, Kings of Metall, Again Live version The Crown And The Ring (Lament Of The Kings) is awesome...) Kingdom Come (1988, Kings of Metall) Pleasure Slave (1988, Kings of Metall) Hail and Kill (1988, Kings of Metall) Blood of the Kings (1988, Kings of Metall) Metall Warriors (The Triumph Of Steel, 1992) Spirit Horse of the Cherokee (The Triumph Of Steel, 1992) The Power of Thy Sword (The Triumph Of Steel, 1992) The Demon's Whip (The Triumph Of Steel, 1992) Master of the Wind (The Triumph Of Steel, 1992)
Rock and roll’s roots are in the blues. Progressive rock’s roots are in classical music. Heavy metal, especially power metal, draws on a subset of classical music; opera of all things. Over the top, lyrical gymnastics, reliance upon fantasy and myth; every one of these originate in opera. Many metal singers have trained in opera. It’s how they can sing to call down the thunder night after night and still have a voice for decades; they understand how to use and preserve their voices.
When manowar came to Greece and took a live the hall they gave a live, after the live literally was under reconstruction. When Manowar came to any stage you just tip your hat and shout the lyrics of any their songs.
Aaand yet another great reaction! I think it would be very appropriate to follow up this reaction with the live clip called “Manowar - Brothers of metal/Call to arms”.
Want to talk indulgent drumming? Start with Cesar from Dutch legends Golden Earring, look up an early eighties drum solo of his and you'll see what I mean. He played those Fibes drum kits with the transparent walls, had bright yellow neon lights in the kick drums, and it must have been twenty triggers in bright neon red boxes suspended in the cage above his head. He would end his solo by jumping spread eagle over the kick drums, which were held together by what must have been the sturdiest cage ever. Fun fact, when Golden earring toured with The Who, Cesar was already doing that jump and Keith Moon apparently decided that he'd liked some of that for himself. Which resulted in a couple of painful encounters between his face and the floor. Cesar being a former track athlete could pull that stunt off, Moonie could not. After Moon died, Cesar was the very first to be asked to replace him. The other guys from the Earring gave him their blessing, but he decided not to go for it, citing that he didn't want to move to London permanently.
may i capture the comment section for the bundesrepublick deutschalnd? -ManOWar, dang, no one ever in my life confessed voluntary that they listend to ManOWar but they did. I Know They DID! cause they had the albums in theire rooms! and man o war they are rocking! YEAY!
Great reaction! Manowar for sure can really fill big venues and really play louder than Hell. Been able to see the band live twice and those were for sure one of the best concerts I have ever been. Band really blew the speakers and crowd was just chanting and having a good time. unfortunately for me most of my interest towards the band (that used to be my favorite of all times) died when I learned of the criminal charges against Karl Logan (guitars) and haven't really listened to them since 2018. Maybe I should jump back to their music again.
This is certainly one of my favourite metal tunes for working out to. It has a solid rhythm to it, great lyrics and is that kind of inspirational-type song. Manowar found their way into my repeat playlist a few years back. I found them through Van Canto, around the same time that Van Canto led me to Sabaton and Powerwolf. Keep up the good work! (And the leather jacket is not a leather vest, it's his back brace... not when I'm drinking :D :D)
The singer is 66 now... This song came out in early 2000, so call it their oldest? Nah... they came out with some great ones late 80s like heart of Steel, defender, Holy war..
I love this band. If only half of the talk about their groupies in the 80s/90s was true, their might be more people being able to say "my popa rocks" than you think😅
Man you should try to react to Battle hymna with Manowar or Sons of Odin....epic songs....Big hug from Sweden love your channeöl...Btw if you are going to react to Battle hymn song be sure to pick the live one with 3 drummer six guitarists etc lol :P Man that get your juice pumping
Two other old-ass bands killing it: Overkill and King Diamond. Both coming out with new albums (#20 for Overkill). Saw King Diamond in November 2019. He's 64 and sounds even better live
If you want a pick me up check out the band Cybertronic Spree - dare to be stupid. People cosplaying transformers in full costumes singing songs from the original transformers movie soundtrack will make anyone who is a transformers fan happy. Also a surprise guest cameo ;)
Great reaction. If you wanna see another awesome crowd reaction the wacken live version of BLIND GUARDIAN - Bards Tale / Valhalla is a must have !! Please do also some Stuff from Helloween like the Skyfall Video or United Alive Videos from their classics like "Keeper of the Seven Keys" or "A Tale that wasn`t right"! Greets!
You have no frickin' idea. Manowar fans are this way everywhere in the world. Only not in the USA because nobody really knows them there. I might even say their biggest fanbase of all is here in Germany. They even mention that in one of their songs. Quote: "Back to the glory of Germany!" :) Wich has nothing to do with our silly past, but with their fanbase.
greetings and love from Germany....Metalhead & MaidenManiac since 1985.....Manowar was and is one of a kind...but, damned, many different feelings comming up everytime i see Karl Logan on stage...like Hate, Anger, Disgust, Rage, a little Sadness, Lust(to hurt him very badly), ....for those who dont know....Karl loves kids..serious..few years ago he got busted and convicted of possession of child p.rnograp.y.........sick bastard
Obviously they could fill huge arenas and musically they may have been talented. But I found the vibe, the "warrior" stuff, the simpleton tunes, the fight and die, battle bla bla Brothers Warrior bla stuff soooo embarrassing as a teen in the late 80s/early 90s already, and it hasn't changed till today. For me personally, it always was and still is just.... cringe worthy
I've been listening to Manowar for 40 years now, and they still rocking. 🤘🇸🇪🤘
Not only in Southamerica.the crowd are fully passionate. Guess why Manowar released a german Version of their Song Heart of Steel. 😁😁
glad for you!
I've seen them play in dordmund. Its easely in my top 5 best shows I've seen, and ive seen a lot
Because the singer had a German wife at the time.
@@tsch23 he had a harem when they recorded "father"
Yup the German fanbase is just huge.
When they (Manowar) performed the Bulgarian national anthem in bulgarian language - priceless...
i grew up with this music ..... IronMaiden ..... Manowar .... Dio .... Def Lepard ...... Metallica ( Kill en all .....)that was a great time
Omg! More Manowar! Legends!
Just found your channel. Just saw you talking about Five Finger Death Punch. I had the same reaction. I was homeless for a few years. It took a close friend to help me. God bless you for helping us veterans

Hail to Kings Of Metal
One of my favorite bands and absolutely loved this reaction!
One should go to a ManOwaR concert at least once... amazing... I was impressed back in 90's and I bet they would make me feel a teen again now in 2021!
Their last concert here in Greece was mind-blowing!

You've got to hear Battle Hymn live at Earthshaker! Epic!!!
Scott Columbus did play drums so hard that he trashed all regular drum sets.
They had to build a steel drum set for him.
"You know you are in South America". Nope: this is how you know you're in a Manowar show :D
Did you see the helicopter, it's in the South American place Kvinesdal in Norway...had a real long and hard road trip to get there in 2009.
They are KINGS of METAL💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥
Manowar are true legends. Who else could get Christopher Lee and Orson Welles to record heavy metal songs with them. They've also set world records for being the loudest band on Earth. Too bad Americans haven't embraced Manowar as much as the rest of the world, these guys are so talented.
Hardly surprising, American taste in music is awful. Dio in his career preferred touring in Europe and south America, for that reason.
Brothers everywhere
Raise your hands into the air
🤘🇵🇱🤘

Grave Digger and Guardian too, maybe? also if you like Van Canto, try Steff's old project, Jester's Funeral ;)
I’ m from Brazil..greetings🇧🇷🇧🇷
Manowar is very classic metal. Bands like this bridged the gap between Black Sabbath and Metallica. Great classic callback.
i thank behalf of all the generation y watched this for making us feel older dude. cheers.
Love this song..truthfully I thought no one knew it

The oldest anthem?
No, that's Battle Hymn.
