The Buxton Inn in Granville, Ohio: Haunted or nay?

Built in 1812 as a coach stop and post office along the road between Newark and Columbus, The Buxton Inn supposedly has a ghost cat, and a woman passed away in room 9, known as the Lady in Blue.
Denison student Alli Pinta '20 decided to test out if the infamous Buxton Inn is really haunted. Here is what she discovered.

I stayed in room 7 for two nights this week. I saw a grand total of zero ghosts!

It’s very haunted. I’ve stayed 2 times. I stayed in room 7 I think. We heard faint singing around midnight. We were only guests there. 😮 come to find out Bonnie was a singer. 😮Then the lamp shade turned off. Then i had a nightmare of a woman standing over the bed. Swore I’d never go back. Went back a 2nd time and while nothing too scary happened the brand new fancy porcelain sink randomly broke in half as if someone slammed it down the middle. I thought oh God we are gonna get charged for this. and when we checked out we told them what happened and weren’t even charged. The staff said “blame it on the ghosts”. 😮 I literally wonder how many times thinks randomly break around there for them not to charge you. Yikes. I have never been back. 😂

Im staying in room 7 in two days, my girlfriend wanted to do a haunted Ohio trip so thats our first stop!
