Ruyi was such a nice queen. She consoled her husband about being a father, became a good listener for him, listened to the problems of her mother in law and sister in law, was kind to the other wives. She deserved happiness

The thing was the whole court adored her - he was so much less popular when he dismissed her and tried to erase her, after she (verbally) held up a mirror to the joke he'd become and he realised she was stronger than him in every way. A weak, pathetic man.

@@patricew.4010 you don't need validation for wanting to follow the MGTOW movement, it's your choice to follow it and your life to live. Be happy with your choices and be at peace.
Strong men and women who raise strong children and care about family can resonate with the pain and terror of losing a child. And if you believe such self-sufficient people who also raise families exist, then I'm afraid you have been brainwashed by the internet.
Live your life, if being alone is better for you, be alone. The emperor in this video also lived a life of solitude in the end, perhaps it was peace that he felt.

9:11 She was wrong for not stopping Ruyi from kneeling before she got to her. Just like when her and Ruyi aunt met (who dislike each other so much) she could have just let their attendants bow.

A child NEEDS them to nuture themselves from a Mothers warmth n touch. Like hugging n holding them. 🤰🤱👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 And Its His Fault he's in much turmoil for having so much women. They suffer so much. *I’m not saying I don’t understand what you mean but we can’t understand if we see it from the mindset of 21st century commoners. This is the mentality of the royals that goes back centuries. Partly it was due to the need for balance of power*
      *Ethnicity balance*
*For Qing Dynasty, in order to achieve racial balance they had to include royal Mongolians (out of different Mongolian princes coming from different regions), the ruling Manchurians (out of the different 8 banners), Han (different regions), and sometimes even minor ethincity groups like Uyghurs, Daur, and Koreans to achieve a racial balance inside the Imperial harem. This racial balance of marriage also existed in all princes marriages that they usually married at least 1 Mongolian, 1 Manchu, and 1 Han Chinese.*

@@judithbadheartbull3109 "Irish twins" refers to babies born of one mother in the same year or in 12 months time brackets, as Irish families had loads of children in the past and poor woman would be constantly pregnant. Obviously that can be scenario in any country, but it was exceptionally highlighted by protestant Brits to imply that in contrast to themselves Irish Catholics are savages...
