  • In Philippians 4, St. Paul writes to the Philippians on the key to have freedom from anxiety. And, in his teaching on having freedom from anxiety, Paul is perfectly aligned with what Jesus taught in Matthew 6. How can you practically be free from anxiety?
Check out what St. Paul says as the answer to achieving peace and freedom from anxiety.

The best part for me when it comes to.this lesson is something my wife told me a few days ago. Researchers have recently discovered the area of the brain responsible for anxiety is also the same area responsible for gratitude. So it's basically impossible to be anxious and grateful at the same time. Who knows how to service a car better than the one who designed it? Same goes for us!

I have always loved these words after the "Our Father" in mass: "Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ." The words have been changed slightly, but this is how I remember them.

Bible says our worry is useless because “Whoever is watching the wind will not sow; and whoever sees the clouds will not reap. " (Ec 11: 4). How often do we worry for something that never happened. Or have a lofty plan or one that seems ideal to us, but ultimately God determines something else.

I wonder if depression can be classified as a stronger form of anxiety. To dwell away from God far far away will lead you to oblivion.
Dwelling in too much of worldly matters can have detrimental effects which lead all of us into a depressed state. Yes it is so true that we need deliverance from worldly things and matters and focus on the love from God no matter what and hand in over any problems we have and prayer is a great tool for this.

Be not afraid and such sentiments are in the Bible how many times? So we pray giving thanks for our many gifts, asking for what we need, trust to God, and do our best today? Like what would one ask for?

Could you speak on thr holy spirit because although every one will experience anxiety in some way i know that when we receive God's spirit we are set free from former overwhelming emotions. We are renewed inside out but of course if we don't keep in the faith & fellowship &b prayer with Thanksgiving we'll lose that connection
