Thank you Mary - that's very kind. I'm glad you found it informative and I hope this means you will give it a try. It's a very satisfying technique. Best regards, Julie
HI Kathy, We have a video that makes similar leaf motifs - th-cam.com/video/EP45pd7oxsY/w-d-xo.html which you can adapt to make different size by altering the bead counts - hope that helps.
Wonderful series. I will make this. You use a seed bead for your anchor inside the large bead. Have you had any break? Your putting all your work’s pressure on that glass bead. I think I would prefer to use a metal soldered ring instead. Maybe an oval. Thank you. I found your book in the US.
Hi and thank you for the comment. No I have had no issues with a seed bead anchor at the top of the tassel strands breaking -however I always try to use a the biggest seed bead that will fit up (and hide) inside the tassel top bead and choose one with a nice big hole. I can appreciate that a soldered jump ring would work equally well but as they are hard to come by sometimes in the Uk I go more low-fi. Hope you enjoy the book and make a huge amount of tassels. best regards, Julie
Excellent video with quiet but precise instruction.

Thank you very much - I hope you are beading along ?
Yes, I was meant to be doing the garden, but the weeds can wait
These tassels are beautiful!! I can't wait to make some. Do you have a tutorial for the leaves you added to the tassel?
