Thank you! I watched the BBC documentary MEMORY GAMES and was keen to know more about Yenjaa. There is something extremely warm and genuine about her - very non-geeky - and I think you, Erika, were the perfect interviewer for her.
Great piece! I have seen a few shows with Jänjaa, and I had been amazed at her skills. Like most people I guess, I thought she had a special talent. But it was great you gave her time to talk and speak her mind on this show. I learned a lot, like for exemple the importance of sleep. Anyway this was really informative as it was entertaining. Thanks Erika!
Another impactful at cast. It really made me think about how I'm not giving myself permission to that I can be a better version of myself. This is a Podcast I will listen to again
I am trying to learn Spanish and signed up for Pimsleur. They use the appropriately spaced repetition Yanjaa talked about to help you remember the new words. There have been several I thought I would never get but I always do eventually! It works!
This right here is liquid gold , mixed feelings about the number of views and likes ..etc as i feel lucky to be in the miority that knows about this yet sad that not more people are interested that this to be main stream like esports and tournaments for video games became a thing in the past few years i hope these memory championships also becomw popular if not mor participate at least more watch so that there can be a generation in the future that grows up watching them so that they learn to love learning new things instead of hating schools like we did or prefering wasting time ...one day being productive might be cool again
I really enjoyed listening to this on your Podcast Erika. It was a great episode. Can you please share more information on the trick she mentioned on how to create safe hacker-proof passwords for each website used? I want to learn this but I didn't really understand exactly what the steps are. I am sure other followers of yours would appreciate this information as well. I am a part of your 3D Money program and I think adding this info to the recent Facts section you made for your students would be an awesome addition. Thanks so much!
Maybe FOMO keeps you up at night. I think you can still get those creative ideas during other times of the day, if you prime yourself first and expose yourself to the right inspirational cues. I usually get creative ideas during different times of the day and then I quickly write them down on a notebook or type them on my note app, depending where I am. What also helped was understanding the different methods people use to come up with creative ideas. This helped a lot because now I can come up with an idea on the spot for whatever it is I want to create.
Yanjaa is awesome. Her just honestly and authentically speaking her real experience and thoughts has uplifting effect🤗
