Invest in a club like Blackpool? Would not touch it with a bargepole! 10k home fans max, so little income to work with. Also such a poor town, with Fleetwood and Kirkham on the doorstep. Just dreams around league one and two with the constant threat of non league forever. Sadly.

Abc Bcde ....the folder coast which Blackpool dominates has a population pool of over 300,000 people and we took over 30,000 to Wembley against Yeovil in 2007 and West Ham in 2012 play offs but their were 37,000 fans there against Cardiff in 2010 plus 4000 neutrals wearing tangerine too as the total attendance was 82,000.....Fleetwood and AFC Fylde haven't got the history or pedigree of Blackpool ...Sir Stanley Matthews best yrs were while he played in tangerine not stoke city and he won world best player whilst doing it too ..Blackpool fielded a full team of home internationals too in the 50s .....Alan Ball won the World Cup for England in 1966 tirelessly chasing down the German midfield again whilst still being a Blackpool player ...Jimmy Armfield was elected to the 1962s best World Cup team as full back ........PNE are our closest real rivals with great earlier history too

@@nobbytang History is irrelevant to the modern era of total money soccer. But there is no harm in reliving the old glories.
You forgot to mention Mickey Walsh's goal of the season.

@@abcbcde9985 Soccer? What are you talking about history doesn't matter in English football? Are you Man City bandwagon fan? You clearly haven't got a clue.

@@japantuning88 Could you please explain why I 'clearly don't have a clue' or are you just being a rude troll?
The sort of person who just throws out insults because it is easier than engaging in reasoned discussion?
The Posh beat the Seasiders today. How dare they! They have never won the FA cup. Are you saying that history should tell the Hatters to give Pool their promotion place because of 'history'? Tell a Fleetwood fan that LOL.

@@abcbcde9985 I would gladly inform you; History DOES matter in today's sport of football. You don't create a history for an sports team out of money.
What's your reasoning for it not matter?
