Me apaixonei por Melodic quando ouvi o tema "Breath" de Lumidelic isso a muito tempo atrás...
Já de cara adorei o nome.
A partir daí comecei a ouvir mais trabalhos dele e aos poucos de outros artistas o negócio ficou meio paranóico sabe...eu queria ouvir tudo de todos os artistas...em 3 anos mais ou menos qualquer minuto livre do meu tempo eu usava pra baixar músicas e ouvir novos artistas que surgiam aos montes todos os dias...
Nesse período entupi uns 5 pendrives de 8 gb pra cima com o melhor do Progressive House de centenas de artistas...
Blood Groove and Kikis...Suonare...Roald Velden...Unlivian.. Mbase...Aki Amano...Talamanca...MeHilove...e centenas de outros.
Comecei a ter contato com esses produtores...queria saber o que usavam pra produzir... Lumidelic por exemplo me disse certa vez que só usava um pc e um fone ouvidos.
Experimentei Ableton e FlStudio...
E hoje eu uso bastante o Fl e tenho milhares de plug ins...mas o principal eu não tenho..."Talento" então resolvi fazer alguns progressives só pra mim...apenas por diversão.
Ja pensei em soltar uma das minhas músicas no youtube...mas depois desisti da idéia.
Tenho mais ou menos umas 45 músicas concluídas e mais 3 em andamento...todas no estilo progressive.
Tentei achar um estilo meu uma identidade forte que tenha a minha personalidade...mas é difícil...
Não é como ouvir Lumidelic e saber que é ele pelo estilo inconfundível.
É...a música é minha terapia...minha cura...
É o amor da minha vida e estou praticamente o tempo todo ouvindo progressive house.
Minha mulher não gosta muito viu...e não entendo como pessoas podem não gostar dessa coisa tão maravilhosa...
Mas enfim...gostos são gostos.

How this track was made in a nutshell:
1. Import Magic Garden (2018 Rework) FINAL MASTER.flp into new project
2. Transpose all melodic instruments down by 1 semitone
3. replace some of the old Drum Fills with new ones
4. replace Lead Elements with new sounds (Flute Layers, Sawtooth Synths etc.) AND new melodies.
5. add new one-shot melodic elements and throw a lot of reverb + delay on them
6. add new arpeggio/stutter sound in the background
7. add new guitar strumming + single chords part with reverb-filled choir vibes in the background
8. add new ending that has not a single chord change
9. every other change that was made during the production of Spirit Dance
10. export it
11. publish on TH-cam, Spotify and other music platforms and hope no one notices the similarities to Magic Garden
I´m sorry Lumidelic, but you cannot fool me. This track is about 70% Magic Garden 2018 Rework. Sorry that I have to look at this from the technical and harmonic side of things - I´m a music producer too.
Apart from that the track is really really awesome. Please consider this "copy" criticism rather than "style and mixing" criticism, your mixes sound perfect and clean!
