What I found, especially with the high line for qualifying, was not to go too deep into the corner before braking. Even thou you can go deep, you have to brake harder, over-slow the car and getting back on it causes a lot of twitchiness. I was initially doing low 34's running the high. I then backed up the braking point, to just after the green light. It's quite a long way back, you don't brake as hard and then as soon as it turns, get partially back on the throttle. Looking at your video, I was probably back on the throttle not long after where you were starting your braking. I suddenly dropped into the 33.7's and .8's. I couldn't do the .6's and lower that some people were getting, but it was heaps easier to do those times than the low 34's and braking later and harder.
Skid plate racin! Hehe look on the bright side, you saved it sooo many times and still finished 0x and made a very entertaining video. Don't own this track so won't be doing this one. :D
Ha, I'd like to know who at iRacing was dialing in this set up and got to the point where he/she thought....."Yep, nailed it, we are going with this!" ;-)
Had the exact same problem but I scraped the wall lap 1 so I chalked it up to damage and not my shitty driving 😅 I think offset and ratio help alot at this track
Have you ever tried going with more of a positive offset on the looser track? I’ve been doing it some. I also run a little lower ratio and it’s been helping me. I’m not very good, but just thought I’d throw it out there. Love the videos. I used them as prep before my races. Thanks
I struggled so bad. Seeing you struggle with the same thing made me feel a little better though haha.
Like a giant piece of ice over on 3 and 4. Tokyo drifting that every time
Geez. A tough one.
Same problem in my race, straight to the back
