Another brilliant review. I agree 100% on this. I had high expectations from the L4, owing to what the LP3 brought to the table. But these are middle-of-the-road, at best. Kick-ass video as always!

I cant agree with your explanation on the sound quality. You can tune the earbuds and frequency to sound exactly how you want so your soune quality description is invalid
@@imwhatsnew the default tuning sounds trash. I agree. It took me about 10 minutes to make a custom EQ that sounds very good. Balanced across bass and mids and highs.

Great review. I'm not an audiophile, but did enjoy your attention to detail and quoted frequency response measurements in the review. How would you rate it for regular conversational audio in a not-very-noisy environment ? I'm considering it for all the good qualities you mentioned, especially the good ear-fit without being bulky (hopefully as good as the Airpods pro - I have the Liberty Pro 2 and find it bulky and largish in my ear) and won't be listening to music with the Liberty 4 a whole lot. However, I'm sold on the other good qualities of it, and wondering if the regular conversations will not be a problem due to the frequency response ?
I would like to hear wich options would be better so? Of course it is a hard question, but what I liked about Soundcore is how the app works better comparing to others tests I did with SoundPeats, 1More Evo
Finally thank you, an honest review. I owned these for a short period but decided to return them because of their terrible stock sound and very annoying anc which would pop and be useless on bumpy rides. Probably the most overhyped product out there.
Is the account thing a recent change? I know with the HR monitor, you do need to make an account. But to just use the app for the regular TWS features, I though you could just skip the account-making/login section like I did with my L3P.
Dunno... It asked me a couple of times so I made one.. I do think you can skip it for a bit but it did ask me again.. I'll try de- registering and seeing it if asks me again and report back in a few days.
Well the l3p does bass better for sure but apparently it does have some long term ownership issues.. Check the forums. Personally I usually recommend the sony linkbuds s although it's definitely not as fun sounding as the soundcore.
I take it back. L4 was not sealing for me. Used the larger eartips and the bass came alive. I have the treble almost all the way down and the bass is boosted to plus 1. Not perfect but sounds pretty good. I'm still thinking i might return them and get the oppo enco x2. In terms of between the l3p, the l3p has better bass and the l4 has clearer and more upfront mids. Both have inaccurate spikey treble.
@@chrisasmith75 I had similar issues the l4 the ear tips felt terrible on my ears. I managed to get a better noise cancelling and improved audio with the spinfit ear tips.

Just watched this great review of greatest earbuds.actually i 'm confused in between liberty 4nc,space a40 and galaxy buds 2.Main priority is good sound ,good mic for internet calling exm.whatsapp.which one u will suggest sir.
I’ve been using mine since December and really hate the call quality on them. My wife is constantly asking me what’s going on In the back ground because she hears it almost more than my own voice. Is there any reason my background noise isn’t cancelled out on phone calls like the background was for him during his phone call part of the review? I’ve got mine turned on noise cancellation when I’m on the phone as well. Or is it because I have a iPhone. My man I love this video btw.
I watched it twice. First for the review and then for the puns. Always interesting and engazing till the end. Good work! I want to point out that, Soundcore advertises it product that it have been tuned in association with Grammy winning music engineers, and mostly hyped up for that but like you said I have heard the new Liberty 4 and they do sound trash. Over-hyped product, still a good competition to the Airpods 3.
I had to return them because the ANC was utterly unusable on the ferries I ride. They tried to kill me. no control over wind noise either, so city wind tunnels or windy pier was agony. Anker got back to me after a mediocre amazon review and begged to send me another pair. It was just as bad, but better on the wind with a firmware update. I gave them that feedback, mentioned that my wife (who didn't have my commute) loved them and they said "awesome thanks, keep the buds, no cost" I wish the Eufy thing wasn't still such a problem. They really do have stand-out customer service. I didn't love the sound either, but with some EQ, didn't hate them. Definitely didn't edge out my 1more evo's in any way. Also today after writing this review the wife came home and said one of her eartips came off and is lost. Anker puts ALL of its sensors behind the idea that the eartips need to be crystal clear, but they don't list any replacements for sale. So I dug through all my IEM tips and the only ones that let the in-ear detection still work (unsure on the heartrate sensor) was the spinfit CP1025. which is a shame, because the case has plenty of space to accommodate many types of tips.
I use spinfit 360s and they don't interfere with the heart rate sensor on mine . They're a super pain to install since they don't have the oval shape where they connect but that also helps keep them from popping off , like the oems like to do .
I have seen some reviews from your channel, and the ones I saw are always bad. I wonder, which earbuds do you feel are the better ones? (I would prefer not to consider airpods. since I don't have and Iphone, Samsung here).

I agree, go with the Galaxy Buds 2 pro. I managed to fix my L3P to a certain point but it is very difficult or even impossible changing the nature of its timbre, so you simply can't get rid off the BA timbre. On the positive side I think it does have, after EQ, a nice wide stage for TWS. I learnt al lot about audio gear after having my L3P (was late for a return) and I won't go for BA iems again as they have to be very precisely tuned to avoid BA timbre and I'm not a fan of it.
