That was quite the young man. Really like Wally Cox , he was a character. Always enjoy these old shows.Remember watching these , a long time ago, but yet seems like only yesterday. Thanks so much !
I was very sad to read a entry for him on the Find A Grave website. Entry for Michael Edward McNamara. Death 1967 in Chicago, IL. Buried Torrington, CT. "Michael was an equilibrist (hand balancer). He appeared twice on the TV show "I've Got A Secret" where he demonstrated his amazing talent tap dancing while standing on his hands and balancing his entire body on one finger. At age 21, Michael and a classmate at St. Procopius College (now known as Benedictine University), were walking at the side of the road in Lisle, Illinois when an approaching car went out of control. Michael immediately pushed his friend out of the way, just in time, saving his life. Unfortunately, because of this decision, Michael received the full force of impact from the careening automobile. He sustained a shattered skull and two fractures of his right leg as he was slammed against a brick wall. He remained in a coma until he died after 8 days in the intensive care unit."
@@janeiwasduncan8463 I guess you didn't see my comment above. At 18 he and a friend were out walking, when a car went out of control heading straight for his friend. He pushed him out of the way and unfortunately get hit and killed himself. A true hero, but a real tragedy!
Wally Cox was a good bud of Brando. It's not often seen but he was quite ripped, Brando often would challenge him to wrestle and Wally would kick his ass every time.
Who says you're old....I was 15 when this aired, however I didn't see it as I was living in Ecuador and we had no TV. That wouldn't come for several months but I doubt they had programing like this..☺️☺️
Garry and Wally are excellent examples of men not reading directions OR asking for directions😊. That young lady, Margaret, sitting beside Garry, watch her reactions to the disaster in what Garry and Wally caused.
Watch as Betsy comes on stage, the right side of her dress, maybe just a little above her right knee, that part of her dress either had a wire poking outward from under her dress, OR a wire from outside her dress was pulling on her dress. Both Garry and Betsy appear to have MAYBE noticed something was wrong going by their slight laughs.
Here is the link to the follow up appearance of the wonderful young man that can tap dance on his hand .. he is a few years older . Enjoy . th-cam.com/video/CdEFA8F-3-s/w-d-xo.html

No, it isn’t. (1) It’s a tabloid, not a mag. (2) It’s by far the most respectable of the tabloids. (3) All tabloids were far more respectable in 1960 than they are now.
I was one day old when this episode aired & I live in Herrin IL, where the first guest resides from.

The kid was an absolute gem, I wonder what happened with him? Did he become a famous performer?

He had the face and voice of a meek and intimidated man but hi body and personality were much different.
Bess Myerson had a great laugh :)
Wonder if he can ( at least try?) At age 73???!!!
I was 8 the day before! I'm old...

Was the right side of Betsy Palmar’s dress caught on a wire?
It’’s annoying how Americans insist on adding ‘London’ to the names of British newspapers.
Was this Bess Myerson’s first episode?
Damn this is old, I was 6 days old. Geez 🙄 prelude to IKEA
Old is just a # I was 15 when this aired and I'm not "old " I'm mature!!!!

He dies far to young.
He was 18 yrs old when he died pushing a friend out of the way of a car which ultimately killed him. A real tragedy!
