That's a really nice looking little truck!! If you could get it for the sale price, and bung a 'cheap' Surpass Hobby brushless system in it, and it would be perfect!! I think the days of cheap cars are well and truly behind us now, unfortunately. But if Rlaarrllo, or however you pronounce it, can keep their prices fairly low, they'll shift loads of these. 🤘🏻

and the expensive ones are going the same way back. Yesterday i ran my losi mini t 2.0 brushless the first time, 10 minutes and a part of the shock came off and was gone. i thought: "Well, shit, but i can buy 20 of them for 5$" but no, i have to buy two new shocks to get this one part, and the value for the money is already junk on this car! So, if anyone say that traxxas is a money-eating company, look at losi and you are fine with traxxas...

On offer at $129 well maybe but I don't think I'd pay the normal $169.99 price tag for a brushed 14th scale when for about half the price I could get a wltoys 144001 . As I ( like most people) would be putting a brushless system in it
Yeah, although 144001’s are no longer a cheap option. The days of getting them for under $70’s is long gone

Well they say it does 50 and it can run 3S and it does indeed 50+ on 3S so i would say fair game, it may only come with 2S but most big brand RC don't even come with a battery at all! Just like wltoys brushless models say 75 and do ~65 on 2S and 85-90 on 3S. If i am not mistaken this uses 144001 parts.
These Mini Kratons are AWESOME! unfortunately the CVD's and Dogbones are a weak point but they are pretty active in rolling out updates

The Team Associated Reflex Dogbones and CVDs work. But you will spend almost half the price of the truggy on them, lol.
@@FarmerFpv if they work for wltoys 1/12 and 1/14 scale i would pay more since mine with the brushless upgrade has so much power that is twists them and then bends them .
My motor burnt up on the first 3s run but I'm waiting on some parts to finish converting it to brushless
I only put a few minutes in it 3s… I don’t think many brushed motors like that much voltage

Thompson RC you’re not the only one, first run on 2S, cut at 7mn with smoke from motor.
Second run: on 3S, after 5mn, motor burnt, on a easy flat road with zero difficulty.
This video is a huge liar to his community.

Don’t have any skateparks near me so I couldn’t test for durability there, but for of road and dirt piles and gravel pump tracks it worked pretty well! I wish they would have used the long wheelbase of the WL Toys 124019 to make this instead of the the short wheelbase from the 144001, this body would look great on my Lc Racing EMB-T if it was the proper wheelbase.
Looks a budget 2s Kraton. Has the exact wing and more or less same tire/Wheels
You should take a look at a 1/16 e revo brushed and see how it compares to these cheaper truggies and if it’s worth the extra ~$50 or so
E-Revo 1/16 is very expensive in the UK

I just got mine yesterday. So many upgrades over this one in the video it’s really a whole new car. Pulls easy wheelies on stock 2s battery. Same electronics as in the AM-D12 everyone online is fawning over, but not sure the gearing difference.
I've come to appreciate the British comedy clips even tho I have no idea what they are lol. On a side note I used to watch a program with my grandmother 7-8 years ago she used to love that was funny it was a old British married couple that was really funny. Wish I could remember the name!

I wish these companies would build some bigger scale RCs. A 1/10 brushless version of this could be very good 👍
It's not so easy to make a durable vehicle once you start scaling up to 1/10th and 1/8th, look at the mess WL Toys made with the V1 of their 1/10th buggy
Just get a TA Rival MT10 , you won't regret it.

It's honestly a really nice looking truck, like the actual appearance. It should be brushless though. And the shocks look pretty bouncy out there in the skatepark. Kinda seems like meh performance. But again it looks beautiful.

to be fair 169 is still a good price , go buy a 144002 some spare arms dog bone CVD nuts and pins and you've spent 20-25 it makes it even more worth it if the plastic is better quality too. electronics look a bit better the transmitter looks to perform better so to me it looks fairly reasonable.

Very cool video and cool run at the skate park! Hint for you if you see this, its the same gear ratio as a 144001. With the larger tires and wheels it has on it I went with a 2200 kv 3660 brushless. I tried higher KV and they all cogged. Its great on 2s and insane to the toon of in the 50s MPH on 3s. Check mine out on my channel if you like..
The tiny trucks just struggle on any real terrain. Even quality ones are just too small and light to handle basic rough environments without getting tossed all over the place. They just don't have the mass

Yeah I was kind of upset to speed challenge I ended up getting 98 mile an hour and I came in 8th place and they're actually got my prize on the way now finally which is on their website for sale now on the $300 buggy with a box with it and all that good stuff that's what we won but with that being said I could have been that I could have beat that 132 man and I'm actually going to stick the I'm still going to do it I know the challenge is over but I'm going to show everybody that I had it beat I do believe in my mind I had it beat anyway I just stripped a gear and by the time I could get a replacement gear challenge was over ended up finishing 8th so with that being said watch out we're going to try to beat that 1:30 Max 8 5S 31 tooth pinion
