- Two people have died after an "attack" on the bridge linking the occupied Crimean peninsula to Russia.
The head of Crimea's parliament blamed Ukraine for the incident, state media reported, but Kyiv is yet to officially comment.
The Kerch bridge was opened in 2018 and enables road and rail travel between Russia and Crimea - Ukrainian territory occupied by Moscow's forces since 2014.
Russia's transport ministry said the bridge's supports were not damaged.

It's a valid military target, so it's not a crime against "humanity and civilian infrastructure", unlike many of your side's attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure a long way from where the fighting is taking place.
This is probably caused by spontaneous hay combustion, this happens when you harvest hay before it is dry enough, and store it all compacted, every summer their are cases. Inform the KGB they should inspect the transportation of moist hay in trucks!

The daughter was injured with shrapnel from the explosion. Let's not kid ourselves here. I'd say they died directly from the explosion. I'd be lying if I didn't say I feel bad for the girl who lost BOTH of her parents regardless of which side of the line they were on. They are still civilians who got caught up in needless conflict.

A Russian smoked on the bridge. A small fire broke out. The bridge is slightly damaged but heroic Russian firefighters put the fire out with great skill. Everything is fine.

There is nothing impressive about it. Bridges are built to be stable. They are not made of paper.
@@jeckjeck3119 Latest theories are that the first attack on the Kerch bridge were actually done by modified S200 rockets rather than the Russian explanation of a bomb in a truck. The X-rays of the truck which the Russians released were very clearly fake anyway, so most people never believed that theory.
I'm assuming the railroad bridge is much harder to take out. Supposedly it carries more military hardware & supplies.

A shame they didn't hit the railway section - try again, maybe with a few ATACMS (or Hrim-2 if that's operational). Talking down the bridge will save many lives since it will significantly inhibit weapons supply to the front.
Blowing up a bridge is very difficult. Most bridges are very solid structures. Small bombs only do limited damage.
Then we need to stop the weapons pouring in from the so called west as well. Before the rest get turned into scrap metal.
