Sir, I got confused by the statement in ICAR FAQ on Vannamei. In some of the questions Ground water is mentioned, but in one of the FAQ the following statement mentioned "However, as per the CAA guidelines, ground water should not be used for shrimp culture.". What is the reason for this? Is it accurate at all? But I saw many videos where farmers are using bore water for salinity and for pullution free water.

Legally bore water is not allowed. But in inland saline areas government is promoting as these soils are not suitable for agriculture

1. 30% in total pond area shrimp taking feeding activities.
2.In one acre pond, If 1lak seed expects 80% survival, during feeding time shrimp will be over crowded like ( 80k seeds /1200m2) 66.6 /m2.
3. If 40~45 % in total pond area for waste accumulation. Shrimp will have play ground in 55~60% to total pond area.
4. While we calculate total pond area for stocking density, but practical shrimp rearing ground will be 50% in pond area.
