Disgusted at the amount of grief these animals have caused so many people! My best friend identifies as a goth and I’m the complete opposite, but God save anyone that put there hands on her!!!!

I cannot even begin to imagine what these 2 families have been through, I watched this on abc player and it honestly made me cry! I am a mother and if anything happened to my Daughter.. Such a truly horrific sick crime and the boys who did it deserve every single second of their sentences and more.

Edit:I am so glad to hear he was able to move on the best way he could. But just feel a lot of what he went through was brush aside.

I understand where she is coming from as far as the anger part since I found out this happened I never looked at a chav the same way since I always have my guard up when I'm around people like that it goes away if they are nice but I'm always ready to fight for my life and my friends lives if I need to

ellis smith not all chavs are this evil but yeah, I've grown up surrounded by them and I wouldn't trust any of the people I've grown up with its kinda built in through my childhood experiences nothing my parents ever told me. It's such a shame they were so trusting. I agree with the mum she could have warned them a bit more that dressing differently could leave them open to some kind of abuse. Saying that I hope she doesn't feel at all guilty because the kids that did this also had a choice choosing evil & jealousy over a the simple, basic act of acceptance. potentially to try impress their peers. I hope they aren't shown any acceptance behind bars.

So you are weary of Chavs like people are weary of Goths?

@@purplemask4204 I know this comment is from a year ago - and in this time frame i'm hoping you've managed to develop somewhat of a brain, however... the chavs you're referring to aren't wary of goths at all. They appear to relish in the verbal abuse (sometimes physical) they dish out to anyone who dares to dress differently to what is deemed socially acceptable. I haven't heard any cases of "chavs" being harassed/abused for their lifestyle choices, yet here you are attempting to spout nonsense for the contrary. Such a disrespectful little comment to leave on this video, knowing exactly what happened to Rob & Sophie.

I think being wary of people in general whoever they are and whatever they look like and however they're dressed is probably wise these days anyway. No need to alienate one particular group.
People are strangers Until you know that person properly, so it's ok to have your guard up and be cautious when you're out and about in the world.
There's good and bad in all. Chavs, goths, metal heads, business person in a suit 😂.
      Seriously,
      You just never know.
That attitude may seem a bit paranoid and overly untrusting of people but I have my reasons for being that way.
I think it's survival instinct. There's nothing wrong in being a bit cautious.

The BBC documentary is harrowing....but i implore all of you to watch it as it was and is real life and is one of the reasons why i diasgree with the death penalty not being in the UK...
