Nice mower. I am still running the old craftsman with a Briggs and Stratton engine . The mower is 20 years old now. A new mower will be needed in the near future. Maybe a zero turn. I maintain two lake lot properties . The mower cuts about 5 acres once a week all growing season. It’s getting a little rough on the back these days lol. A zero turn will be more stable on the hill and the newer models have a seat suspension system which is the biggest selling feature for me.

My other mower is 13 years old and looks like new :)
I got one just like yours, AGM battery too weak, transmission went out at 66 hours, just a hunk of junk, MTD has really let the quality go
Life is what you make of it . I like mine works well has 70 hours on it no problems
