Easier to find when the moon is not full. 40 years ago I made a site glass to locate the North Star. I mounted a 2 inch pipe 2 foot long with a washer at each end with 1/2 hole. So I tested it over the next 7 years before I moved and the Star was always in the site glass.
Is it Ursa Major? I always thought it was called Ursula Major!! So Ursa Major must be the same as the Great Bear? Sounds like it means bear in Latin. PS as far as I know people here (UK) don't usually call it Ithe North Star; it's normally called it the Pole Star here🤪🌟
Straight to the point, I appreciate these so much more than the unnecessarily long winded explanations thank you.
Thank you for being so direct and straight to the point. You were so clear in your presentation!
This simple explanation and visual guide helped me to actually understand this for the first time. Thank you!?
Good job, Katherine!
