Chongqing People's Auditorium: Chongqing People's Auditorium, located at No. 173 Renmin Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, was built in June 1951 and completed in April 1954. It is an ancient ethnic building complex, one of the top ten cultural symbols of Chongqing, a masterpiece of the ingenious combination of traditional Chinese palace architectural style and the large-span structure of Western architecture, and one of the landmark buildings of Chongqing. Chongqing People's Auditorium consists of four parts: the auditorium and the east, south and north buildings. The total area is 66,000 square meters, of which the auditorium covers an area of 18,500 square meters. The auditorium building is 65 meters high, the hall has a clear height of 55 meters, an inner diameter of 46.33 meters, and the circular hall is surrounded by four-story cantilevered buildings, which can accommodate more than 3,400 people. In 1987, in the "Comparative History of Architecture" published by the Royal Institute of British Architects, there were 42 projects in the history of world architecture for the first time in the contemporary architecture of New China, and Chongqing People's Auditorium ranked second. In May 2013, it was listed as one of the "Seventh Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units" by the State Council. In September 2016, Chongqing People's Auditorium was selected into the "First Batch of Chinese 20th Century Architectural Heritage" list. Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum: Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, also known as Chongqing Museum, is one of the first national first-class museums and a national museum jointly built by the central and local governments. It is located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, directly opposite the Chongqing People's Auditorium. Its predecessor was the Southwest Museum established in March 1951, renamed Chongqing Museum in June 1955, and approved by the General Office of the State Council in September 2000. It was named "Chongqing Museum" and officially opened to the public on June 18, 2005. According to the museum's official website in March 2016, Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum covers an area of 30,000 square meters, a building area of 45,098 square meters, and an exhibition hall area of 20,858 square meters. The exhibition consists of 4 basic exhibitions, 6 thematic exhibitions, 1 360-degree full-circle film, 1 half-view exhibition, 1 audience practice center and 3 temporary exhibitions. On November 18, 2020, it was elected as the "New Landmark of Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor". In November 2022, it was selected into the first batch of supplementary certification list of national popular science education bases from 2021 to 2025. In January 2023, it was selected into the list of the top 100 hot-searched museums in China in 2022. In May 2023, it was included in the 10 Yangtze River-themed national tourist routes and the Yangtze River Civilization Origin Journey by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. From January to August 2024, the number of tourists received reached 2.34 million, which has exceeded the whole year of 2023, an increase of 55.63% year-on-year, and an increase of nearly 210,000 people compared with the whole year of 2023. It was built on a large scale four times in history, the earliest of which can be traced back to more than 2,000 years ago. Chongqing Ancient City Wall, including the new city gate, has a total of 18 gates, which is what people call "Chongqing City, nine gates open and nine gates closed". There are 17 places and 56 sections of Chongqing Ancient City Wall, with a total length of about 4,404 meters, including 40 meters of independent Song Dynasty city wall. The current section of the city wall that can be fully exposed is about 1,295 meters, and the section of the city wall that has been exposed again through protection is about 2,103 meters, a total of 34 sections. The length of the city wall section to be exposed when conditions are ripe in the future is about 1,006 meters, a total of 22 sections. There are 7 existing city gates and urn city ruins, including 3 existing open gates, namely Dongshuimen, Taipingmen, and Tongyuanmen, 1 existing closed gate, namely Renhemen, and 3 partial urn city ruins, namely Qiansimen, Nanjimen, and Chuqimen. There is 1 existing artillery platform, located in the Tongyuanmen city wall section. The ancient city wall of Chongqing is of great significance to the historical relics and has important research value for the study of the ancient city of Chongqing. On March 5, 2013, the ancient city wall of Chongqing was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. 重庆市人民大礼堂:
重庆市人民大礼堂(Chongqing people's auditorium),位于重庆市渝中区人民路173号,于1951年6月破土兴建,1954年4月竣工,是一座仿古民族建筑群,是重庆十大文化符号,是中国传统宫殿建筑风格与西方建筑的大跨度结构巧妙结合的杰作 ,也是重庆的标志建筑物之一。
重庆市人民大礼堂由大礼堂和东、南、北楼四大部分组成。占地总面积为6.6万平方米,其中礼堂占地1.85万平方米。礼堂建筑高65米,大厅净空高55米,内径46.33米,圆形大厅四周环绕四层挑楼,可容纳3400余人。
1987年,在英国皇家建筑学会出版的《比较建筑史》中,新中国当代建筑首次载入世界建筑史册的共有42项工程,重庆市人民大礼堂位列第二。2013年5月,被国务院列入“第七批全国重点文物保护单位”。2016年9月,重庆市人民大礼堂入选“首批中国20世纪建筑遗产”名录。
重庆中国三峡博物馆:
重庆中国三峡博物馆,又名重庆博物馆,是首批国家一级博物馆、中央地方共建国家级博物馆。位于重庆市渝中区,与重庆人民大礼堂正对。其前身为1951年3月成立的西南博物院,1955年6月更名为重庆市博物馆,2000年9月经国务院办公厅批准成立,并加挂“重庆博物馆”馆名,其新馆于2005年6月18日正式对外开放。
据2016年3月博物馆官网信息显示,重庆中国三峡博物馆占地面积3万平方米,建筑面积45098平方米,展厅面积20858平方米。陈列展览由4个基本陈列、6个专题陈列、1个360度全周电影、1个半景画陈列、1个观众实践中心和3个临时展览构成。
2020年11月18日,当选“巴蜀文化旅游走廊新地标”。2022年11月,入选2021-2025年第一批全国科普教育基地补充认定名单。2023年1月,入选2022年度全国热搜博物馆百强榜单。2023年5月,被文化和旅游部列入10条长江主题国家级旅游线路·长江文明溯源之旅。2024年1-8月,游客接待量达234万人次,已超2023年全年,同比增长55.63%,较2023全年增加近21万人次。
重庆古城墙:
重庆古城墙,位于重庆市渝中区长滨路,切山为墙、辟峡为门,是世界建城史上最具特色的城墙之一,历史上曾4次大规模筑城,最早可追溯到2000多年前。重庆古城墙加上新城门共有18门,就是民间所说的“重庆城,开九门,闭九门”。重庆古城墙现存城墙共17处56段,总长约4404米,包括40米独立存在的宋代城墙。现状能完整显露的城墙段约为1295米,通过保护实施重新显露的城墙段约为2103米,共34段,待未来条件成熟再实施显露的城墙段长度约为1006米,共22段。现存城门和瓮城遗址共7处,包括东水门、太平门、通远门等3座现存开门,人和门等1座现存闭门,千厮门、南纪门、储奇门等3处部分瓮城遗址。现存炮台1处,位于通远门城墙段。 重庆古城墙对历史的陈迹有着重要意义,对重庆古城考有着重要的研究价值。
2013年3月5日,重庆古城墙被中华人民共和国国务院公布为第七批全国重点文物保护单位。
重庆山城步道:
重庆是山城,山城步道是只能步行的城市小道。与多数城市的小街巷不同,山城步道有很多的上下坡的台阶,也就是当地人说的“梯坎”。
最典型的就是重庆第三步道。地处渝中半岛南向坡面,由北向南,依次经过市中山医院(原国民党政府立法、司法院)、抗建堂、菩提金刚塔、法国仁爱堂旧址、悬空栈道等,全长1748米。
重庆,自古走出了多条盘山的‘步道’。如今的步道,维护和保持了,老山城的行走爬山的本色,增加了现代元素,将历史文化与现代景观,健身,观光串联在一起,形成重庆的地方特色和旅游观光品牌。沿着条条‘步道’,拾阶而上(下),缓慢而行,饱收上下近远美景,赏心悦目,心旷神怡。
