Leak's are pretty common in gacha games now after Genshin was released based on my observation. I talked about leaks in WuWa discord yesterday and the admins don't seem to care. Besides, you can't post images there anyway. It's also great for marketing as it can build hype for the upcoming update.
Heck i saw a video earlier where someone video a AD in JP where Kurogames pretty much just showed the gameplay of Jinhsi & Changli fighting mobs, so yeah Kurogames probably don't mind the leaks for upcoming char. banners, it all probably depends what being leaked.

I always look at leaks to decide what character should i pull next based on my current character poll.
