This is a little deep, not sure if you'll talk about this topic or have ever gone through this topic, BUT
My husband has struggled with p*rn his whole life, and unfortunately has brought it into our marriage. He has completely opened that part of him to me and he hates that part of him, but it's an addiction for him. Now, me as a wife, I struggle with my insecurities thinking "I'm not good enough" but he constantly reassures me it's not me at all, it's something he's struggled with since 13. Hes gotten incredibly better with watching it but it still creeps up every once ina while. How can I get over myself and my feelings and be his supportive wife who believes God will take care of it and help him break out of these chains? What can I do besides pray??

How to date for marriage without getting discouraged? I often find myself talking to men and after a while it seems pointless to talk anymore due to lack of efforts. It’s easy to walk away if a man doesn’t take time to know what makes me happy /sad, fav food that makes me dance 😂, my values, etc. I have been single for 6 years now and I have a good head on my shoulders just focusing on my career and seeking answers. I’m just not having any luck.

I was married 30 years. We did the till death model.
We lived we fought we had kids we made love and yelled and held hands till the day he died.
So i kind of feel like in an expert on my marriage.
Marriage is hard. Real work to make it work. Therapy does work. Before it gets to dividing the property and child custody, get counceling. Even if you feel like everythings ok, go. Ok works but it can so much better than ok.
Learn to fight fair. Dont take that kill shot. Its not worth the deep scars those leave.
Figure out their love language, i know thats sounds dumb but we each love in our own way.
Mine is validation. I liked him to notice just how much i did in a say. His was physical touch. That took time to figure out, because we didnt know to ask.
...and talk. A lot. Be your partners best friend.

Hello, Love! If I may, I would also encourage you to read the Song of Solomon in the Bible and also look up what some of the verses mean. The book is quite “spicy” lol and it shows the passion that two lovers and soon to be spouses have for each other. God ordained sex and it is only the wrong teachings of people which makes us believe otherwise. I pray this helps and that you are able to live fully and freely. Be blessed ❤️

Another thing that could help a couple is to know that there is a difference between sex and intimacy. Often times the focus is on the sex part only. What is intimacy to you? Do you feel that you have reached that deep level of comfort and communication with your partner? Does he understand your fears about sex in a non judgemental manner? Do you put up a show just to please him? So many things to unpack. Sex is beautiful. All the best dear.

I've been married 5 years with my hubby too, and we've had a tough fertility journey, but just about a month ago I told him, honey while I love that we want to have our kiddos, I'm realizing that I'm grateful for these last 5 years that we have gotten to learn each other better through it all, and enjoyed each other's company as a twosome. We're still on our journey, and trusting God's process, but I'm truly grateful for this time of "us." Love this video so much!!! You're a blessing, and so is your husband. 💜

I am one of those folks dealing with the guilt and shame in my marriage. It’s like I was brainwashed that intimacy was a bad thing.
I’m thankful for your boldness, Adrienne. I don’t see many Christians talking about this. It’s refreshing to see how comfortable you are. Definitely a goal of mine. ❣️

My husband and I were married for 5 years, before we had our daughter. We had a challenging fertility journey, but during that time we traveled, slept in, and had a great time as husband and wife.
And Adrienne is me about the picking her up late feelings! That’s me with my husband! I am you, you are me!

I loved every minute of this. On the Real, you mentioned being intimate every day. And you discussed it today, recently i also brought that up to my partner. Intimacy is not just sex and i told him that. for me ive been increasing my cuddling, kissing, hugging and it has been so great for my relationship. ❤

Oftentimes it feels like celebs are just saying whatever they have to to get views/likes and it doesn't feel genuine. I see so much content from the same people because they're who I love to surround myself with like you and Jeannie. Thank you for opening up on this episode and being real about the genuine dynamics of life. People don't want the highlight reel, they just want real. I appreciated this one more than I have others in a minute. Thank you!

I recommend marriage counseling even beforehand marriage because marriage is hard. It’s not easy. Its a lot of give & take. I wish we had some counseling before getting married. I’m still married 23 years later but still would help. If I’m honest in some marriages or situation sex isn’t everything in a marriage, because sometimes couples deal with issues like health problems or not being able to satisfy your partner. Then you honestly don’t have a choice but to deal with it. Trust me. These issues exist. So please make sure , your relationship is solid besides the fact of having relations.

Adrienne!! I have a question I’ve been wanting to ask you and I hope you see this and hope it’s answered on your next question video but.. I really REALLY want to know how you learned to trust Israel. If there were certain things you had to get over or get through to trust. If there was a moment that made you really realize “wow. I can trust him 1000% to never hurt me.” Or if it just came naturally and you never had to have a talk about trust or you never had doubts/jealousy/insecurities. I HOPE YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION! Love you A 🤍

As a married person, I can truly say that to not have a lot of conversation around marriage is a huge mistake.Thank you so much for this video! Blessings and peace to you and your family! 🙏

I agree that what you make a priority is what will come through but if I remember correctly, one of the biggest hurdles was after having kids. I think that should be noted as well cause it isn’t as easy when you have babies around. HOWEVER, I still think if you prioritize it, it can still happen. Maybe just not as often but more often than you think if that makes sense.
