I’d let Al drive me anywhere after watching that - fair play to the Freelander but it has to be said Al’s driving and composure throughout was pretty fuggin’ impressive. Good work the Harvey.

I've been off-roading for many years and I can tell you that Al is a natural.
Fit a snorkel (properly) and you'll have yourself decent off-roader
Also, think Al knows his stuff, plenty of momentum gets you anywhere

Lloydy must keep so fit trying to get his favourite shots of TH-cam , Now that you got new friends, you can get yourselves a proper air filter for going through deeper water , and a CB RADIO, so you can speak to your new friends, ho yeah and tyres . and one of the best off-road places to go at the weekends is billing aquadrome Northamptonshire and you can camp over the weekend,they got a great place for of roading, and tractors for when you get stuck. Al is a first-class driver his driving is excellent
Light weight with four wheel drive and traction control make the FreeLander do what it did. Like a WWII jeep. Weight is the enemy. Tyres are critical for the right grip in mud. Right exit and entry angles as well mean less overhang. Nice job guys you had some good fun and took us along

Fantastic! I remember doing off roading in a Honda CRV when they first came out (not to this extreme as we had kids in the back!). We went flying through rather a deep puddle and then the kids laughter turned to crying…. We had left the sunroof open and a wave of muddy water had come in, missed us in the front but covered the kids in the back!! 😂😂

The best off roader is a vehicle you don’t care about. Sometimes you have to just send it.. where these discoveries cost £000s to build these days, you have to be more careful.

Some decent driving there in the freely, the x5 driver seems decent too, look at the disco they seemed to be going bit too slow, possibly one reason they had issues, need some momentum- something the x5 driver had up that hill.

I feel like the discos were just struggling because they were going slow. Gotta keep the momentum up. Too worried about damaging their expensive kit. I'd be the same to be fair 😅

Thanks for the video guys, I would love to take you guys to a US off-road trails, these dirt driveways are not very challenging, my Prius can make those trails. But you have to start some place. Have a great time playing in the mud. Can't wait to see where you go next
