@@timoonn A lot of people with good sounding videos, nice tabs, and good advice have some tense looking fingers, flying fingers, thumb over, and much more. But they can still all play way better than me.
I’m a beginner bassist in my band and people always make fun of me for not knowing how to play most of the songs, so I just want them to stop and that’s why I’m here.
And I can say the following: as an amateur bassist all I can say: most of people mock based on what they can’t do. Ur trying, and that’s the important!! Keep it up❤
@@maurostrachwitz747bro, I'm a pro player and even I have landed on this video as I need to learn this song super quick for a show. We all are either learning, or not learning. Those people mocking you are unimportant
❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Excellent channel! Just recently decided to break out of my old bass habits/riffs that I've used as crutches for way too long... this channel is going to be a great help to get me off center and start learning/applying new things! Subscribed! Thanks!
Interesting how the song switches to eighth notes, no dotted notes, before the solo and through most of the wind-down. The tension of those dotted notes has been released and there's a more easygoing feel. It's not a Latin song, but the dotted rhythm is Latin and when I think of Latin songs that I know they tend to keep the tension up, so it was just so surprising to note. Seeing your transcription helped me focus on that. Thanks!
Nice job! I've been following your videos in a while and you always bring some nice basslines. If you don't mind me asking, which software do you use for recording the tabs along with the videos? Thanks!
I'm a tone deaf-drummer who really appreciates all the help trying to work through this however when I listen to the original, I hear the bass break (solo) starting on the D at the 10th fret of the E string. There is an underlying "bassline" (why does autocorrect hate that word?) on the E and A strings as such. D & 2 & 3 & 4 C G & 2 & 3 & 4, D A & 2 & 3 & 4 It requires some "smooth" ness that I'm still woking on, but I'm determined to get it.
That part at 1:38 is so tricky i mess up every time i try playing it i can’ t read notes so i play along by looking at the where you put your fingers i gave up playing the solo part it don’t sounds so good when i play it😅😅😅

Hello Victor, it's been such a long time since I recorded this video, that I don't even remember what strings I had on my bass back then. One is sure: I've never ever used flatwound strings. From my experiences the strings don't have a greater influence on my bass sound. I've used Dadarrio, Ernie Ball and recently elixir, but never felt any major difference. It's defenitely the bass and even more important the finger technique that creates great sound.
Thank you for the effort you put into this. You're helping bassists world wide raise their game. Cheers
If you take the video as a "how you should not play" :o
His left hand technic is kinda chaotic.
Where’s you videos man? Put up or shut up

Excellent my brother!, where can I find the accompanying music minus the bass tracks?
I'm buying the backing tracks from this site:

It isn't terribly hard to play it's just that there's so many part of it to learn
Right. And there are also different variations of the same riff. On the other hand, that helps you know where exactly you are in the song.
