I never thought of wearing Bracken Man in the summer but it works. Especially in the evening when it's cooled down a little. Perfect for a summer night out when you want something more upscale.
That's exactly it Idk! I pull this one off at night time, dressier occasions if I'm indoors with AC on. It smells really sophisticated, classy and well-put-together!
Parfums De Marly to me anyway is a Fragrance house i actually love paying for!!! Whatever they make is good!!!I have 8 of there Fragrances and i have been mixing Percival with Carlisle!!!! Really works well together!!I trimmed my collection down to only 60 Fragrances i really got to have! it was 170!!!

B-612 is a favorite of mine as well. To me it’s very peppery, but creamy form the casherman. Pretty linear but It last all day and keeps me feeling fresh.
Huge fan of Eau Papaguena from "Elisire" I'm on my 2nd 50ml bottle, I wore it a lot in the summer of 2021 on the hottest most humid days. And Nio from xerjoff I'm also almost ready to get started on my backup bottle. But Nishane B-612 is not a summer fragrance, at least when its hot and humid, works much better in mild weather "Spring weather". With that being said Its the best smelling aromatic, barbershop style, fougere frag that I own!
I agree a Fragrance with a back bone! Hardly see that anymore! Every time i spray Moss Breches on it reminds me of a fragrance with a back bone! There just not made very well now days Max!! Just my take on it!
I love my PDM Sedley’s, Creed Virgin Island Water’s and Nishane EGE’s as much as the next guy but one of my favorite underrated Niche Summer bangers is House Of Siliage N.003 such a beautiful oceanic fragrance
Hey Max... Great review! I enjoy the fact that your trying to take us on the unbeaten path... Nishane is one of my favorite niche houses, and B-612 is one of the best fougére fragrances available. I love it and plan to use for special occasions. I will also be wearing Bond #9 Eau De New York and Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint this summer. You mentioned a few that have caught my interest like Bon Viveur and Oceania. Keep them coming...!

I'm having the hardest time finding a good Summer nichey, all my fave frags are Autumn/Winter bombs that are way too dark and heavy for the warmer weather but the British Summer is way to temperamental for a generic freshy so this vid gave me a lot to think about. That Nishane is definitely one I'd like to get my nose on soon!
Hey A R - I know the feeling I too favor the darker, woodier and spicier scents, however during the really hot days of the year I want something that is bright, refreshing and inviting... That nishane B-612 is really good - fougere fresher take without the greener and darker facets...
Yes Wet Stone it's amazing!!! Need to try B-162 also Eau de Papaguena. Right now I'm absolutely in love with Loewe's Paula's Ibiza, already have a backup bottle and I'm planning to by another, sad they didn't release it in 100 ml bottles or even 200 ml, I'll buy it in a flash, layered with TF Oud Minerale, it's pure summer magic!!! Dawn Spencer Hurwitz has a scent called Il Marinaio di Capri and it is the best summer scent I have put my nose on. Honeysuckle, Ambergris, and green notes are the stars of the show...marvelous stuff.

Awesome list, Max! Missing You or Someone like You by Etat Libre d’Orange. I discovered this in your list of Summer 2021 and since then I adore this scent. In my list there is Silver Mountain Water, Himalayan Woods and Reflection Man.

Hi Max, love the lineup and mainly Sedley and, Nio which I own. Some of them are unknown for me, From PDM I love Percival the most, more versatile than Sedley.. I strongly recommend Navitus Navus for formal ocassions and Navitus Primas for dress down ocassions, the latter very earthy like Nishane Hacivat, with incredible mass appealing and longevity. Juniper Sling by Penhaligon had been my go to summer scent for the last 10 years. I’ve recently been enamored by Memo Corfu and B-612. Decants of Baie 19, Tygar, and 40 Knots are on the way. Hope to find a summer signature scent that has a long-lasting “fizzy zing” to it … maybe I’m on the wild goose chase!
