I’ve just got one in .22, I’ve taken it out of the box, wiped it down with a silicone cloth and just looked at it for a while. It is the first rifle I’ve ever bought based purely on its looks, I don’t care if it did 2 ft/lbs and I couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo with it, it’s a beautiful piece of engineering in my opinion, all my other rifles are either PCP, firearms or shotguns , but this little springer is better looking than them all. Will I use it? I swore I would when I bought it, but now I want to keep it in mint condition for the future, not as an investment at £450, (I don’t think it’s ever going to be worth as much as i paid for it, but I don’t care about that either) but just as a piece of history to mark a landmark moment that not many companies will ever see. Congratulations Weihrauch on 125 years. 👍
It's quite pretty but I think it would have been a better celebration of their heritage if they'd done a premium walnut edition rather than yet another laminate.
@@simonnoble7589 Not really, no. They are only marginally better (in a technical sense) than solid walnut and they have issues that a solid wood stock doesn't have. If you want the best technical stock then you'd go for polymer, fibreglass and aluminium. And these rifles are supposed to be a celebration of Weihrauch's heritage and history, not just an excuse to sell a limited edition modern stock.
Hi Neil , whot a fantastic looking rifle .... I love it thank you

I also got one in .22, I've spent more time looking at it than shooting it ;), Love the stock.
