எனக்கு பிடித்த கார் இது. என்னிடம் 1996 மாடல் கார் உள்ளது. என் அப்பாவுக்கான நான் வாங்கிக் கொடுத்த கார். அதில் செல்லும் அனுபவமே மிகச் சிறப்பானது. அதில் பயணம் செய்வதர்களுக்கு மட்டும் தான் தெரியும்.
We had one... dismantled 8 years before.... the main drawback of our car was the Oil tank... several times got hit in speed bumps and hole created.. welded many times changed many times.... After many years of usage as second and car we got into much emotional while dismantling.... Love you ambassador.
My dad bought an ambassador T board and started his own transport business after leaving his driver job in a company, we had plenty of memories in this car. It's always close to our heart because now my dad is running the same Travels with many number of cars and vans. The one car which changed our life TBH and served ous for years ❤️. I was in 4th or 5th std, I remember keeping my palm between the front left door and A pillar holding the A pillar, while getting in to sit in my father's lap. My father tried to close the door before I took off my hand and that moment I screamed at top of my voice due to unbearable pain.. Another occasion where I sat near the gear lever and the driver often used to tell "Thambi kaal ah thalli vei, gear poda mudiyala". Ellam travels or vaadaga Ambassador vandi thaan. But nostalgia remains same.. ☺️
I insisted my driving school master to bring n Ambassador to teach me. I learnt driving and got my DL from an Ambassador. Because this is the real vehicle. Everything is manual. You control the car 100%. Awesome. ❤️

1000 times thanks birla for this awesome video of a legendary car i am a great fan for this car and after a year of search i got an 2010 model ambassador grand last week. there is no word to explain the feel and emotional connectivity with this car. i think u forgot to tell the below points. in India our PM CM and all ministers president collectors and every govt officials used this car. it's a pride of India. even it was came with bullet proof too. there is no one car to beat this car. it's heavy build quality and sturdy body is great. this is classic model but if you see a grand model it has all features like power window power stearing power brake bucket seat alloy wheels etc. this car won world best taxi award on 2013. there are so many things we can speak about this king Ambassador - King of Indian roads

Mass !!! My dad had taken me to a lot of trips in TN and kerala from 1995 to 2005. I still remember the driver name - Gurusamy uncle ! My Mom used to tell me stories, like they used to stop the car every 2 hrs on road side, take out the stove, to feed me and my brother, and resume the travel. Song cassettes ( Jeans - 1998 movie ), I used to dance when I'm on the back seat. And I'm on the back seat only when I wanted to dance, rest of the time, I prefer the front seat. Have come across many incidents, tire burst, radiator liquid splashing on wind shield... Still those are Golden Memories

Semma magizchi . Golden memories. Even i also used to sit in middle seat and driver told to stay put your legs straight. I also thought it was very tough to drive, even now itself when you look outside of car it gives gigantic feel. Also I had a sensation feel due to bad smell in the car when I was child and used to vomit in towel. My grandfather's brother used this Hm car and it feels good, now I feels bad because they sold it and bought maruti Zen. Even my cousin at the age of 10 back in 98 used to start this car thinking he can drive for fun. It's a legendary car and my only desire have to drive hand gear ambassador model and Contessa.
Originally the car had steering gear. Very tough to apply reverse gear. One van type model too came in later. Mark II,III,IV..then IZUSU engine, Square parking lights, double colour band on side body...

I use to sit the same place as you said near that gear rod our car number was MEB 9595 so many flashbacks happiness pain OMG really something screwing me inside of my heart very much painful am unable to hold my tears it's just dropping down even I don't know that what happening something am missing a lot those days those life my loving father OMG no words to describe but..... Semma magizchi . Golden memories. Even i also used to sit in middle seat and driver told to stay put your legs straight. I also thought it was very tough to drive, even now itself when you look outside of car it gives gigantic feel. Also I had a sensation feel due to bad smell in the car when I was child and used to vomit in towel. My grandfather's brother used this Hm car and it feels good, now I feels bad because they sold it and bought maruti Zen. Even my cousin at the age of 10 back in 98 used to start this car thinking he can drive for fun. It's a legendary car and my only desire have to drive hand gear ambassador model and Contessa.

Originally the car had steering gear. Very tough to apply reverse gear. One van type model too came in later. Mark II,III,IV..then IZUSU engine, Square parking lights, double colour band on side body...
