I thought based off of my Kaplan book page 362, that "An 83 year old widower explains that is he is risk-averse and wishes to find an investment that will provide him with preservation of capital. Which of the following would you recommend?" The correct answer is B. Bank Insured CD's. Then it goes on to explain "The exam has two answers for preservation of capital. The strongest is Bank Insured CD's. Followed by Money Market Fund" So why are you saying money market in this video?

@@Series7Guru I guess the confusion we are having is that the federal covered IA is not subject to register in the state, but the IAR that has a place of business would. Is that correct? I put B for question 23 as well

How do these questions compare to studying for the 65? I see a new 65 explication coming out tomorrow but in reviewing this explication, it seems to mirror a lot of similar topics.

There is no such thing as a federally covered IAR. IAR either work for stats or federally covered IA

In the same boat here, scored a 72. Test on Tuesday. I noticed most of my wrong answers were in the 50’s 60’s & 70’s with a few in the 20’s and 30’s.
I did find this exam to be extremely difficult compared to PP/Kaplan. But I also do understand Brian is trying to replicate the “legal” terminology and confuse us.
How did you do on the real exam? It’s so hard to know where I’m at in terms of preparation with this because I feel like I understand a topic and end up getting a question wrong on that topic that’s worded much differently from previous questions. The 7 was much easier IMO in terms of preparation and understanding concepts.
