So cool! If you don't mind sharing, could you tell me where you got the decor and little extra stuff from? Where'd you take inspiration from for decorating your dorm? I'm an international student and I'm heading to the US next fall so don't really know how to put things together since I can't possibly ship everything from here, so I'll have to buy stuff once I'm in the US

the decor and smaller items are from a bunch of different places but mainly target, ikea, amazon, and homegoods, which is my FAVORITE place for random knickknacks and cute decor. hope that helps a little!

because of covid there were no roommates last year, but in a normal year, two students share this room!

this is from this past semester (spring 2021)! one of my friends actually lived in james 117-just a warning, the floor isn't carpeted
@@carlamattaliano hi! Is the floor wood or cement ? And are the bathrooms near by? It’s very hard parents can’t see the rooms at move in so I’m trying to get a picture of it 😊
@@rachel.kellogg8554 hi! so the floor is a brown-ish checkered tile, but you can probably cover most of it with a big area carpet if you want. also, there's a girl's bathroom basically right across the hall from 117!

@@rachel.kellogg8554 my freshman year (last year) all rooms were singles because of covid, but I believe even in a "normal" year 117 is a single. amherst might have made it a forced double this year because they're so overenrolled-definitely going to be tight with two people
