I accidentally stumbled on your first "Iceage is coming" this morning and watched all six episodes! 😅 I felt like a little toddler again, listening to your story telling. It was a strange feeling of nostalgia, excitement and far away memories of when I used to tell stories to my cousins when we were children. With the tangles and problems of the grown-up world, the story telling faded away fast... with great sadness I must add. It is a part of the mind that should be used and treasured, the ability to use your imagination. Thank you for sharing your story and I hope there are many more to come.
Loved listening to this as I was prepping some scrap leather for a medicine bag. Between your story and knapping sounds and my scraping a hide I really felt like I was sitting at your lodge
I can relate. I was spalling some poor quality obsidian while listening to parts 2 and 3, trying to find pieces big enough for a small knife. I had to keep backing up the video because I got lost in what in was doing and missed what was happening in the story, but I didn't want to miss anything. 😁 Listening to 5 and 6 was while folding laundry. That was nowhere near as fun. 😒
Great storyteller and its very nice to see the way transform the flint to dagger thanks for the ride and for the sharing, hope we have new chapters soon. Thanks
Hi Will, you have done a fantastic job incorporating the fire making, the dagger build along with the continuation of the story. Awesome skill and knowledge of the past. Take care see ya on the next 👍
You tell a good story! Thoroughly enjoyable. This is a book I would read again and again. Love how you've blended your talents with your skills in weaving Fins story.
Mr. Lord I want to tell you that I have watched this story about 5 times now and all I can say is ..... Please finish it??? It's been a very awesome story so far and I would love to hear the ending. Best wishes 😊
I have never seen your "steel" I take it , it is some type of Iron pyrite. Could you at some point do an up close video of this set up . This story series is amazing . This needs to be turned into a book . Please keep it up .
Hey man. I enjoyed listening to your story. Very creative. And also interesting to see that dagger come together more and more in each video. Thanks for the knowledge you share. Much appreciated sir.
Outstanding content. The dagger, the fire, the story, all make for a wonderful way to spend the morning, listening and watching you. Keep up the great work. :)
What a beautiful story , my wife Raven and I are sat watching and listening from the start as we look out of our window onto the snow capped hills of Wales . Tank you for sharing your story . Much love from your friends in Wales Ritchie Veteran and Raven x
Absolutly fantastic will! My son finley said he loved how u played out parts of the story urself lighting fire and walking the reeds ect. He has insisted that i enter the draw for him 😆😆
These are fantastic!! I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, your story, or the dagger! I have about 75 pounds of chert rock and various spalls, from chert, to 2 different types of obsidian, and agatized coral, and one of two others, but I am struggling to find pieces large enough to finish the size I need for a full sized dagger or knife. I guess I need more practice thinning them without losing as much width. 😊 I love all of your content, though! Thanks for doing it!!
que buen trabajo! Felicitaciones! sería mejor si tuviera subtitulado en español quiero compartirlo con amigos que no hablan inglés y por no entender no te siguen. Saludos desde Córdoba Argentina
@@WillLordPrehistoricSurvivalThank you, I really enjoyed this story, it reminded me of Oolak's Brother by Bud Helmericks which was my favourite book as a boy, it follows the life of an Inuit family living on the ice, similar to what you did here, telling a story while sharing lots of technical info. I think you'd enjoy it, good mister Lord, perhaps it might inspire the rest.
Your a natural now or then, your flinting is as good as story telling-- publish it with flinting pics. I’m on edge of seat here for 7, your doing that old joke? How to keep someone in suspense, tell you later ;-) 7777777777777 lol
You are a man of many talents. The story was engaging, and the dagger and sheath is incredible! Looking forward to the rest of the story!

It has been nearly eight years since I made my first bowdrill fire 🔥 I prefer the Neanderthal method, as seen here. (Flint and pyrites)
What happened to Fin’s sister? Did she get left behind at the cave?
So Fin and his family liked to hunt Muntjac when they could 😛
When will chapter 7 be available?
No part 7?
I might actually die.
🎩Hi great story. Why didn’t they carry a burning ember with them. I know you can carry smouldering horse shoe fungus on a stick, it goes for hours.
Awesome story and crafting makes me want to build an live like that
My boy's named Finn.
Works of art...I love to see someone make something from nothing...wonder if you know about no sewing sheaths? one piece of hide.
