Diana showed a different set of singing techniques I've not really heard her use before - vocal fry and scat. I do think, and hope, that she explores the jazz genre more deeply because she's got a vocal range and sound to excel in it, though I get the sense she's not all that confident about it. It does take a certain type of inner rhythm to sing jazz and one has to like that genre of music and be drawn to it. She could become the most eclectic vocalist of the 21st Century, the Billie Holiday of her generation.
